I don't outsource my bookings to different drivers as many companies do, so owners always know exactly who their fur babies with and can contact me directly anytime and not through a 3rd person in the "office" who doesn't really know how your pet is doing during the transport. I choose quality pet transport over quantity! I specialize in SOLO VIP transport or shared rides with 2 - 4 pets at a time. Please understand and be aware that CitizenShipper is not a standard bidding/auction site. Sevice you will get from higher bidders is not the same as you will get if you pick a lowest quote. Most of the times - the lower the bid means that the more caged animals are traveling (10-15 pets is being an average) with delivery time frames up to 2 weeks. They are carried at the back of cargo vans or U-haul tracks and get very little care and attention just because there are so many of them for 1 or even if there are 2 drivers. I love animals so much and I can't imagine sending my beloved pet traveling in mentioned above conditions. I enjoy traveling and nature photography is my hobby and I have background in film industry as a film/video editor. I have an extensive cross country driving experiences and I enjoy helping others. John is a former OTR driver with 29 years of experience, hauling everything from livestock, pets, boats, RV’s, car haulers, refrigerated units, trees, boulders, to hazmat. He maintains a CDL for larger transports. Our background includes raising livestock for 4H, horse rescue and canine fostering/rehabilitation. Our home is a full on zoo and we love it! Ground Transport: For you, we provide constant updates throughout the trip with videos and updates. We provide location details through Life360 so you know exactly where your pet is along the journey. We’re also always a text or phone call away so you’re welcome to check in as often as you’d like! We stop regularly for potty breaks, stretches and scratches. Kitties are provided a litter box for the duration of the trip. Air Transport: We offer flight nanny services to/from most US airports for pets under 20 lbs. - We provide transport from airport to airport in a comfy, airline approved carrier that is yours to keep. - Our bid is the final price. It includes all associated travel expenses. - Payments: Half is due at booking with the remaining amount due at delivery. My name is Melisa and I would be happy to safely transport your furry friend to their new home. I have been a full time Diamond rated Uber driver since 2018, and delivering pets since May 2020. My goal is to provide a seamless, stress free ride for your fur baby. If the distance of your trip is under 1,000 miles, I can usually get your furry friend to their home that night. You will receive video and photo updates all along the trip. *Please confirm dates with me before you accept my bid.* How it works: After you accept my bid on Citizenshipper, we can communicate freely. We are unable to share contact information until the bid is accepted. Citizenshipper charges customers a percentage of the bid, and both customers and drivers pay a fee to use this platform. You can pay me via Venmo or Zelle anytime between bid acceptance, or at the time of pickup with a partial deposit. I send a video at pick up and every 3-5 hours afterwards. *For planned trips over a week in advance, a 5% discount is offered if full payment is made within 1 day after bid acceptance. Federal law requires transporters crossing state lines to be USDA registered for legal transport. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW: Citizenshipper is a referral service not a transportation company. They will charge you a fee, which is separate from my fee. Check the icons at the top of the profile page. Look for the USDA icon to verify legitimate/legal shippers. If they do not have a USDA icon or number then they either have not completed the necessary training or have had their registration revoke for some reason. Experienced drivers should know the difference in dogs. Such as the temperature sensitive short nose dogs, the escape artist and runners like the huskies. These dogs are the most lost dogs and should be double tethered. Also understand the hyper little Frenchies and big lap dogs like pitbulls and GSDs. Also the driver should have emergency back up plans. Waiting 6 hours on AAA is not a good back up plan. Please read the drivers reviews to avoid scammers and unreliable drivers. Understand usually people bid low for a reason. EX: Scammers, drivers looking to put together a run and will cancel or delay pickups. I get SOS texts almost weekly for those above reasons. There is a wealth of information out there be careful. Most cats, turtles and puppies will sleep or go into a hibernation state where they won't eat or drink during the trip. This is why it's so important to get them from point A to point B as soon as possible. I have worn many hats. I am a veteran, previous teacher and mother. We only carry a few animals so we can give more personal attention to each animal. Also, I have a co-driver so we tend to be able to deliver faster and safer than most individual drivers. We also have experience with pick up and deliveries at airports. As you can see from our reviews, we are concerned with animal well-being and putting the pet owner at ease. I have volunteered for 8 years with Feral friends in Dallas. I personally TNR 42 cats off the streets of Dallas. I took care of many sick and injured cats. ABOUT ME: My name is Dawn and my passion is helping others and animals. Growing up as a kid we always had some sort of animal in our house. From dogs and cats, to birds and snakes. We even had a tank full of hermit crabs. I have 2 degrees, one in social work and the other behavioral sciences. However the 9-5 can get lonely, so I decided to start traveling. Well what's better then traveling with animals? Nothing I tell you. 😀 My husband and I, with the help from our friend Sebastian, have decided to take our driving skills and our love for pets/helping others and start our company; Travers Family Transport. We pride ourselves in taking care of your possessions, whether it is your fur baby or a beloved family item. We are USDA certified and we carry pet insurance for those transports of your furry friends. MY PRIORITIES: The safety and well-being of your pet(s), and their timely delivery. We do drive an average of 700 miles a day. Weather and traffic are always the big factors if we can beat our average or not. CLEANING: The vehicle/kennel/bowls will be sanitized after each pet leaves to prevent the spread of diseases. I clean and disinfect everything before the next fur baby uses it. The health of your pet is important to me. PUPPIES: Puppies not fully vaccinated will be allowed fresh air, but not be allowed on the ground. They will use puppy pads or grass pads. We do ask before each transport the preference of a no paws on ground service for those puppies. Your pets safety and health is #1 priority. WEATHER: PLEASE NOTE… The weather is unpredictable sometimes. If the weather is too dangerous to drive in, such as black ice, thick fog, blizzard like snow, heavy rain, etc. Your date or time may be adjusted for safety reasons. ABOUT OUR TRIP: I realize how long and tiring a drive may be to your baby. It can even be lonely. I make sure each fur baby feels loved and cared for along the way. If you choose us to transport your furry friend to you, you can expect for it to be treated as if it were my own! You will also get pictures any chance I get! I will do regular stops for potty breaks every 3-4 hours, xor next safest place, during which I will check on your baby, give them a walk and some fresh air, and ensure that their food and water and any medications are given! ALLERGIES/MEDICATIONS: If your loved one has an allergy or medications, please let me know. I want to make sure every pet gets the best VIP treatment possible BID PRICE: For my animal transports: We do offer 3 different services. We have a solo/VIP ride, a solo ride and a shared ride. We like to give plenty of time to our passengers for potty and stretch breaks. For our solo/vip, we do charge an extra $100 a night on top of our regular price given during conversation. Solo/vip rides, we do stay in hotels at night if the trip is longer then a day. For our regular solo and shared rides, hotels would only happen if the weather is either to hot or to cold to sleep comfortably in our equiped van. We do have a portable AC and heater for nights we are in the van. **Any extra items, not food, a leash and collar, or litter, please disclose before booking. If extra items are included at pick up or after booking, extra fees may be possible** Like my profile not my price? Talk to me see if we can work something out (share a ride for a lower price)! I will not have more than 4 pets at a time with a shared ride. If you have more then I pet and they can fit into a xl crate together, we can accommodate for that as well. PERSONAL CONTACT: CitizenShipper monitors our conversation and you can not share any personal information until you book with someone. Once the booking is complete we will be able to exchange personal information! We do also start a chat the day before pick up. You may add anyone you like to receive the messages and pictures we send throughout. PAYMENT: We do not ask for a deposit at booking. Our payments are split up in two payments. the first half at pickup and the rest 2 hrs before delivery. This can be paid through PayPal, venmo, zelle, or Cash. No checks, money order, or travelers checks. For our flight nannies, we do ask 70% at booking to secure all tickets and pet fee, the rest will be due at drop off For my non pet transports, I do ask for 50% of the payment 72 hours before pick up, and rest can be handed over at delivery. CITIZENSHIPPER FEE: CitizenShipper charges their own fee when booking. Unfortunately there is no way for me to wave the CitizenShipper fee. This fee does not go to me. It is a fee that CitizenShipper charges for using them. Cancellations:: If a cancellation is our fault and a deposit has been paid, you will receive 100% of the deposit, unless we have worked our a reschedule. If a cancellation has been made on your end, a 50% refund will be given if cancelled more then a week out, no refund will be given if less then a week out.

Wags-N-Whiskers Pet Transport "We Deliver Happiness" I am starting this business because of my love for animals and travel. I have moved many times myself with pets and understand how stressful this can be on both the pets and owners.. I would love to provide safe travel environment for all fur babies. I can provide kennels and pet beds if needed. I will make adequate stops along the way for potty breaks and exercise. Always fresh clean water. If your pet doesn't do well in kennel I would be happy to let them be free in the car. I don't stack crates and keep the pet count low so I can walk each pet and spend quality time with them. I also can provide private transport for a higher fee if requested. My brother Daniel has also joined in to help with transports. He is an Army veteran and has a loving Dachshund named Buckley. I have 2 dogs (Bella and Charlie) and 2 cats (Butter and Spooky). I have been on here for a while but just now starting up. I was taking care of my father the past few months I was unable to start the business . But now that I have begun I am loving it . I truly love animals and want them to have great care on their journey. Please be patient when bad weather conditions occur. It may take an extra day or so to arrive with your pet but it's safety first. It is also road construction time so delays can occur. I try to keep my prices affordable but I do stay in pet friendly hotels which generally adds $25 additional cost per night. So my price reflects that. I never leave pets in the car. I accept cash, credit/debit card with square with 4% added. Cash app, Zelle and Venmo. I would kindly appreciate if you dog was bathed before travel.
