Our biohazard ☣️ control program is top notch, which is above and beyond simply sanitizing. 🧼 Because visually cleaning a surface is great,🚩 but we make sure that we’re killing any viruses or microorganisms 🦠 by disinfecting our kennels after every single pet, every single time. We know it makes a difference when it’s your loved one, and we always go the extra mile to keep any pet in our care as safe and comfortable as we’d keep our own. Which for us includes using top end, proven impact rated kennels to ensure your pets safety no matter what happens while traveling. Their safety is paramount. ❤️ We are also large Doberman parents as well, and adore transporting other people’s too, so larger furkids do NOT bother us in the slightest, not only are we able to cater to larger breed dogs, we love ❤️ them, and have plenty of space to ensure they’re comfortable while traveling. HEADS UP! Citizen Shipper does charge a "finders fee" for providing their service, which is ON TOP of our bid price. This fee is applied when you confirm a bid and book with someone. We don't want you to be caught off guard when you go to book. Also, some shippers fees to book are higher due to their cancellations, so be careful who you book with as it COULD result in a higher booking fee. Double check what you have selected at check out to avoid paying for extra “add ons.” We do require 50% upon bidding to confirm and schedule your pickup and the remainder is due upon PICKUP of your pet. We had to change our policy due to payment delays. Cancellations with notice prior to 24 hrs of pickup we’re happy to refund 50% of the remaining balance to cover our costs and rerouting. We do try to work with minor schedule changes, as we understand that things can happen unexpectedly and will do our absolute best to accommodate people when we can, even if you need later arrangements. 😊 We do ask that people be flexible on pickup and delivery by a couple of days to allow for traffic, weather, exercise/potty breaks etc. if it’s not a private, solo transport. Traveling coast to coast is a little more technical, and we cannot control variables like traffic, weather or construction. Private transports are guaranteed dates/times and booked at a higher rate to compensate for that. We use invoices for payment and also accept Credit Cards,💳 💵 and Afterpay. (So payments if you need) We require just a simple non refundable deposit to confirm you on the route and guarantee pickup. We only bill via invoices. We require animals to be sent with a collar, leash, any relevant vet records (health certificate/UTD vaccine record) and food for during their travel. (Small ziplocks, or a couple large ones work great for this! No food bins) Do they have a favorite toy or comfort item? You’re welcome to send it with us! We want them to be as comfortable as possible. We do ask that you limit their collective items to a small backpack size travel bag or similar unless other arrangements are discussed prior. Please be honest about the size of your pets so that we can prepare & to avoid any additional fees. We always transport animals in their own, individual private kennels for their safety and protection and to limit as many environmental variables as possible. Same household pets receive that same courtesy unless specifically requested otherwise. 😊 (personal private space is something we all can appreciate right?) Puppies without all of their vaccines are puppy pads only, which eliminates the risk of them being exposed to other contaminants along the way. We always prioritize small ones travel so they get to their new homes as quickly, and as stress free as possible. As breeders ourselves, we understand the responsibility when it comes to choosing someone to transport your new animal. How fragile they truly are, and what to look for while traveling to avoid any issues and the necessity for new puppies to spend as little time in transport as possible. ❤️ We go the extra mile to make sure they get there as quickly as possible and without issue. We’re not a huge company, which means extra care, consideration and ❤️personalization goes into every single transport we do. We truly believe that quality care is more important than quantity, and will make every effort to get your pet to you in the least amount of time, in the least stressful way, for you and THEM and ensure you a great experience with us. So many new people are getting into this industry, without the proper knowledge or equipment to do so. If there are pictures on a transporters profile of animals being hauled loosely in a back/front seat, RUN 🏃♀️! This is not only unsafe for your pets, it’s also completely against the law. This also guarantees these company’s are not covered by ANY pet insurance policies as it isn’t a covered practice. (Accidents/injury from other pets/escaping) It is so common to hear stories this year about pets being “lost” by transporters, and it is because of these types of negligent practices. Also, back seats, beds, cloth and blankets CANNOT properly be sanitized, so there is no way to eliminate viruses or follow proper biohazard control between animals. (Since posting this detail in our profile many transporters have now changed theirs to match, please ask HOW they sanitize, as this this extremely important) Be informed, and just because they’re the cheapest, does not mean that your pet will be safe. When it’s your pets safety at stake, we believe IT MATTERS. ❤️ Another dead giveaway is very new profiles bidding transports extremely low, or much less than other companies, phrases used like “USDA licensed” (as they do not license anyone) and transport companies claiming to be “licensed veterinary technicians.” (This is a separate individual license that is regulated in each state, and cannot practice in other states where they are not carrying a license- additionally that license is easily looked up online by the public and only under direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian) My personal favorite- “501(c)3 organizations” claiming to also be transportation companies- while the claim sounds wonderful, it’s absolutely 100% false, on principle by law, organizations that hold 501(c)(3) status must not serve any private interests, and their earnings must be used for charitable purposes ONLY. Does transporting animals for hire sound charitable? So it’s a lovely story, but a story, and nothing more. These are just a few of the scams that we want people to be on the lookout for, and things they can use to identify less than reputable practices. And as always, check references on other PLATFORMS for presence elsewhere too! Real, honest, reliable operations always have a presence. You’ll also see transporters claiming hotels are better than NOT leaving your pet unattended. We strongly disagree as hotels have pet weight limits, and cost you more. No USDA means they’re transporting illegally. No background check means that. Look for those checks on profiles! Please be careful out there folks! And most importantly, ask questions and make sure you’re talking to a real person. 💯 Many companies use autobid and simply subcontract your transport out to another person for a lower rate. We’re always happy to answer any questions you have, anytime! Please let us know your departure date/time and your expected arrival if you are on both the shipping and receiving ends so that we can try to accommodate the pickup/delivery times accordingly. We strongly encourage pet parents to make accommodations when necessary at the other end for the pets arrival as we do not wish to board any pets any longer than necessary after transportation to their destination. (They also really want to not just be bored and not doing anything exciting either) Please make alternate arrangements if your travel plans are delayed, extended, or taking the scenic route. While we do try to be understanding of individual or emergency circumstances, please understand that we cannot “hang out” with your pet for additional hours/days in the delivery area while you visit friends/family etc. Additionally these delays affect other people, and animals on our current, and future routes and we ask you to please be thoughtful of them too. Additional days/hours fees will be charged at a rate of $50, plus lodging expenses if necessary. Our bid does not reflect tax.

Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile, and considering me to transport your precious cargo! I'm an 58 year old Mom, currently living in Northern Virginia with my awesome partner Tim. I've been transporting dogs and cats on Citizen Shipper now for several months, and I also have some experience transporting rescue animals for 2 local rescue groups, as a volunteer. I love animals and donate my time whenever possible to saving them from high kill shelters to other towns where they have a better chance to be adopted or have foster homes waiting for them. My career for the past 20 plus years had been in smaller, local nonprofits, mostly running the resale shops. Running the business side of it (it may be a nonprofit, but the shops need to make money to support the organization!), managing the staff and volunteers. Some volunteers were there because they just enjoyed it and wanted to support the organization, some were students needing hours for school/church/etc., but most were community service volunteers who were court ordered to do volunteer hours for some infraction, like a speeding ticket. I affectionately call them my "naughty kids". I now spend my time taking as many road trips as I can, mostly to hike and visit National Parks, and spending time in my workshop, refinishing and upcycling furniture. I'm passionate about saving good but ugly furniture from the landfill and making it attractive and useful again. I enjoy travel, seeing everything there is to see, cooking with my son and his girlfriend back home in the Chicago area, spending lots of time with my partner, Tim and his adult son Connor, who has Down Syndrome. Connor is a movie buff and knows the words to every Christmas song I can find to play for him. Tim is training to be a dog trainer and works at a local K9 training and boarding center. He was in the Army as a K9 handler back in the day, has a prosthetic leg, can still hike, swim and mostly keep up with me, and he may occasionally be able to join me to transport items for Citizen Shipper. I'm a foodie, love the beach and the mountains, but mostly the beach, a good cook, care deeply for my fellow human beings and for animals of all types. Every living creature has a purpose and a place in this world/food chain, even if they are ugly and creepy - LOL! As far as transporting your beloved animal, I would love to be considered. I will not guarantee to be the lowest bidder, but I do guarantee to care for and protect them like they are my own. Oh, and my family back in Chicago has 5 cats now! My spouse and I have been small hobby breeders for the last eight years and on multiple occasions over the years we have offered transportation options. Fast forward to 2024. Business has been going well for us and we've decided to add a vehicle specifically for transporting to our business. We of all people can understand the needs required in trusting someone with the care and wellness of your animals. Our goal is to put your worries to rest knowing your animals are in the best of care during their expedition. My spouse is a licensed veterinarian technician and has experience working with multiple breeds and species of animals along with my 16+ years of experience in Supply Chain & Logistics, we also have an option for really any other transportation needs. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO TALK TO US BEFORE BOOKING!! We stop every 2-4 hours or as needed for bathroom breaks and exercise. We typically have all passengers ride in kennels for added safety (we provide all kennels for your use during transit) & provide updates to provide some reassurance and comfort during the route (such as pictures or videos and location updates.) We allow one small carry-on of personal items (such as a puppy kit from your breeder, food, documents, a blanket, small toys, etc.). We require a health certificate or vaccination records along with a signed/dated statement from the breeder that the animal was of good health prior to traveling, and food for any trips longer than 2 hours.*please note we do have required waivers for short snout breeds that will need to be signed electronically before pick up* We have a non-refundable deposit of half our fee payable via Zelle/Cashapp/Apple pay or Venmo and the remaining balance due at the time of Delivery. A better break down of this is our insurnace provides coverage for veterinary costs, theft, escape, injury, or death of animals due to covered perils such as fire, accidents, natural disasters, or anything that falls on us and any possible unforeseen circumstances that may occur during the trip! ***PUPPIES 🐶—With puppies not being fully vaccinated we also implement a "no paws on the ground" policy to prevent any sort of disease! *** • If you're ready to move forward we can submit our bid so you can pay for the website fee (on every booking made through this site there's a fee that must be paid for ). After the website fee is paid, we can share with you our deposit link. After the deposit is paid our driver will contact you for the confirmation of booking and take the information of pickup/dropoff. • Our drivers will reach out one day before pickup and they will keep you posted as they're getting closer to the pickup/ drop-off area. For shipments canceled within 72 hours of pickup, there is a small cancellation fee owed to the driver - by this time the driver might be on the road, having already invested time and resources. The fees are as follows: Canceled 48-72 hours before pickup: $50 cancellation fee owed to the driver Canceled 24-48 hours before pickup: $100 cancellation fee owed to the driver Canceled 0-24 hours before pickup: $100 -OR- 50% of the originally agreed fee owed to the driver, whichever is the greater of the two. Cancellation fees can typically be paid via PayPal, credit card, or other methods, as previously agreed with the driver. We require half our bid as a deposit due the day before transport. Traveling, time frames and pets needs and stress are very familiar to me and what it takes to provide a comfortable and safe environment to ensure an on time and safe ride. If there is a problem along the way, I have an animal science degree and years of living and being raised on a farm to notice most things that come up and how to take action. I have 2 frenchies named Stella Rose and Ivy Willow. I have owned and fostered larger breeds like Cane Corso, Vizsla, Labs, Pit Bulls, and Dobermans as well as smaller breeds like miniature schnauzers, chihuahuas, yorkies, etc. I have owned reptiles and hamsters. I am not only transporting your pet, but showing them love and care while with me is 2nd to their safety. I was raised with different animals as a child which helped foster my love for the job.

Servicing one family at a time, no other pets will be in the vehicle throughout the trip. ⭐️ $2M Comprehensive Insurance: We provide a comprehensive insurance coverage for every animal transported, ensuring their protection in the unlikely event of any unforeseen circumstances. ☎️ 24/7 On-Call Vet FirstVet provides participating drivers access to licensed veterinarian support, 24 hours a day. All day, every day. 🕒 We stop every 3 to 4 hours or more as needed for potty, walk breaks, and cleaning (if needed). We accommodate your pet's feeding schedule and can administer medications if required. 🐾 When needed, we stay at pet friendly hotels so that your loved one is never left unattended. 📷 We provide multiple updates daily via texts and pictures and our cell phone is available 24 hours a day as long as your loved one is with us. 📍GPS tracking is offered via the Life 360 app. 🐶 Puppy transports - puppies under 12 weeks are transported with a strict "no paws on the ground" policy for their safety to protect against illnesses like Parvo. We use disposable puppy pads and our kennels are cleaned/sanitized after each transport. 🐱 Cats are transported in large travel kennels, and a litter box, litter, and bedding are provided for their comfort. Litter boxes are cleaned daily. 📌 We service Alaska, Canada, and Mexico. ✈️ We also offer domestic and international Flight Nanny services for small cabin sized pets.
