Our biohazard ☣️ control program is top notch, which is above and beyond simply sanitizing. 🧼 Because visually cleaning a surface is great,🚩 but we make sure that we’re killing any viruses or microorganisms 🦠 by disinfecting our kennels after every single pet, every single time. We know it makes a difference when it’s your loved one, and we always go the extra mile to keep any pet in our care as safe and comfortable as we’d keep our own. Which for us includes using top end, proven impact rated kennels to ensure your pets safety no matter what happens while traveling. Their safety is paramount. ❤️ We are also large Doberman parents as well, and adore transporting other people’s too, so larger furkids do NOT bother us in the slightest, not only are we able to cater to larger breed dogs, we love ❤️ them, and have plenty of space to ensure they’re comfortable while traveling. HEADS UP! Citizen Shipper does charge a "finders fee" for providing their service, which is ON TOP of our bid price. This fee is applied when you confirm a bid and book with someone. We don't want you to be caught off guard when you go to book. Also, some shippers fees to book are higher due to their cancellations, so be careful who you book with as it COULD result in a higher booking fee. Double check what you have selected at check out to avoid paying for extra “add ons.” We do require 50% upon bidding to confirm and schedule your pickup and the remainder is due upon PICKUP of your pet. We had to change our policy due to payment delays. Cancellations with notice prior to 24 hrs of pickup we’re happy to refund 50% of the remaining balance to cover our costs and rerouting. We do try to work with minor schedule changes, as we understand that things can happen unexpectedly and will do our absolute best to accommodate people when we can, even if you need later arrangements. 😊 We do ask that people be flexible on pickup and delivery by a couple of days to allow for traffic, weather, exercise/potty breaks etc. if it’s not a private, solo transport. Traveling coast to coast is a little more technical, and we cannot control variables like traffic, weather or construction. Private transports are guaranteed dates/times and booked at a higher rate to compensate for that. We use invoices for payment and also accept Credit Cards,💳 💵 and Afterpay. (So payments if you need) We require just a simple non refundable deposit to confirm you on the route and guarantee pickup. We only bill via invoices. We require animals to be sent with a collar, leash, any relevant vet records (health certificate/UTD vaccine record) and food for during their travel. (Small ziplocks, or a couple large ones work great for this! No food bins) Do they have a favorite toy or comfort item? You’re welcome to send it with us! We want them to be as comfortable as possible. We like to know when they last ate so that we can accommodate them at their same feeding times. 🍱 We do ask that you limit their collective items to a small backpack size travel bag or similar unless other arrangements are discussed prior. Please be honest about the size of your pets so that we can prepare & to avoid any additional fees. We always transport animals in their own, individual private kennels for their safety and protection and to limit as many environmental variables as possible. Same household pets receive that same courtesy unless specifically requested otherwise. 😊 (personal private space is something we all can appreciate right?) Puppies without all of their vaccines are puppy pads only, which eliminates the risk of them being exposed to other contaminants along the way. We always prioritize small ones travel so they get to their new homes as quickly, and as stress free as possible. As breeders ourselves, we understand the responsibility when it comes to choosing someone to transport your new animal. How fragile they truly are, and what to look for while traveling to avoid any issues and the necessity for new puppies to spend as little time in transport as possible. ❤️ We go the extra mile to make sure they get there as quickly as possible and without any issue. So many new people are getting into this industry, without the proper knowledge or equipment to do so. If there are pictures on a transporters profile of animals being hauled loosely in a back/front seat, RUN 🏃‍♀️! This is not only unsafe for your pets, it’s also completely against the law. This also guarantees these company’s are not covered by any pet insurance policies as it isn’t a covered practice. (Accidents/injury from other pets/escaping) It is so common to hear stories this year about pets being “lost” by transporters, and it is because of these types of negligent practices. Also, back seats, beds, cloth and blankets CANNOT properly be sanitized, so there is no way to eliminate viruses or follow proper biohazard control between animals. (Since posting this detail in our profile many transporters have now changed theirs to match, please ask HOW they sanitize, as this this extremely important) Be informed, and just because they’re the cheapest, does not mean that your pet will be safe. When it’s your pets safety at stake, we believe IT MATTERS. ❤️ Another dead giveaway is very new profiles bidding transports extremely low, or much less than other companies, phrases used like “USDA licensed” (as they do not license anyone) and transport companies claiming to be “licensed veterinary technicians.” (This is a separate individual license that is regulated in each state, and cannot practice in other states where they are not also carrying a license- additionally that license is easily looked up online by the public and only under direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian) And my personal favorite- “501(c)3 organizations” claiming to also be transportation companies- while the claim sounds wonderful, it’s absolutely 100% false, on principle by law, organizations that hold 501(c)(3) status must not serve any private interests, and their earnings must be used for charitable purposes ONLY. In addition, all assets have to be permanently dedicated to a charitable purpose. Does transporting animals for hire sound charitable? So it’s a lovely story, but a story, and nothing more. These are just a few of the scams that we want people to be on the lookout for, and things they can use to identify less than reputable practices. And as always, check references on other platforms for presence elsewhere too! Real, honest, reliable operations always have a presence. ❤️ Please be careful out there folks! And most importantly, ask questions and make sure you’re talking to a real person. 💯❤️ Many companies use autobid features and simply subcontract your transport out to another company for a lower rate. We’re always happy to answer any questions you have, any time! Please let us know your departure date/time and your expected arrival date/time if you are on both the shipping and receiving ends so that we can try to accommodate the pickup/delivery times accordingly. We strongly encourage pet parents to make accommodations when necessary at the other end for the pets arrival as we do not wish to board any pets any longer than necessary after transportation to their destination. (They also really want to not just be bored and not doing anything exciting either) Please make alternative arrangements if your travel plans are delayed, extended, or taking the scenic route. While we do try to be understanding of individual or emergency circumstances, please understand that we cannot “hang out” with your pet for additional hours/days in the delivery area while you visit friends/relatives etc. Additionally these delays affect other people, and animals on our current, and future routes and we ask you to please be thoughtful of them too. Additional days/late fees will be charged at a rate of $50, plus lodging expenses if necessary. Our bid does not reflect tax.

I have been a petsitter, a dog walker, off leash hiker and have offered in my home dog boarding. I have been a foster mom to both furry babies and human babies! Transport is a mobile variation of my pet care, with the same quality of care as I have built in my professional reputation. Each pet will have a blanket and water bowl at all times unless they are known to chew and ingest bedding. Dogs are walked one at a time. Cats will have a blanket, litter box, food and water at all times. *Emergency Transport Available* Let's discuss a date before you book! I cannot commit if you book without messaging first and a confirmation of dates. I require a deposit after you book through here. Your spot is not confirmed until your deposit is received. 20% deposit, 40 % at pickup and 40% at delivery. Citizen shipper has their own fees. This does not go towards your Transport cost. My spouse and I have been small hobby breeders for the last eight years and on multiple occasions over the years we have offered transportation options. Fast forward to 2024. Business has been going well for us and we've decided to add a vehicle specifically for transporting to our business. We of all people can understand the needs required in trusting someone with the care and wellness of your animals. Our goal is to put your worries to rest knowing your animals are in the best of care during their expedition. My spouse is a licensed veterinarian technician and has experience working with multiple breeds and species of animals along with my 16+ years of experience in Supply Chain & Logistics, we also have an option for really any other transportation needs. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO TALK TO US BEFORE BOOKING!! We stop every 2-4 hours or as needed for bathroom breaks and exercise. We typically have all passengers ride in kennels for added safety (we provide all kennels for your use during transit) & provide updates to provide some reassurance and comfort during the route (such as pictures or videos and location updates.) We allow one small carry-on of personal items (such as a puppy kit from your breeder, food, documents, a blanket, small toys, etc.). After the website fee is paid, we can share with you our deposit link. After the deposit is paid our driver will contact you for the confirmation of booking and take the information of pickup/dropoff. • Our drivers will reach out one day before pickup and they will keep you posted as they're getting closer to the pickup/ drop-off area. For shipments canceled within 72 hours of pickup, there is a small cancellation fee owed to the driver - by this time the driver might be on the road, having already invested time and resources. Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile, and considering me to transport your precious cargo! I'm an 58 year old Mom, currently living in Northern Virginia with my awesome partner Tim. I've been transporting dogs and cats on Citizen Shipper now for several months, and I also have some experience transporting rescue animals for 2 local rescue groups, as a volunteer. I love animals and donate my time whenever possible to saving them from high kill shelters to other towns where they have a better chance to be adopted or have foster homes waiting for them. My career for the past 20 plus years had been in smaller, local nonprofits, mostly running the resale shops. Running the business side of it (it may be a nonprofit, but the shops need to make money to support the organization!), managing the staff and volunteers. Some volunteers were there because they just enjoyed it and wanted to support the organization, some were students needing hours for school/church/etc., but most were community service volunteers who were court ordered to do volunteer hours for some infraction, like a speeding ticket. I affectionately call them my "naughty kids". I now spend my time taking as many road trips as I can, mostly to hike and visit National Parks, and spending time in my workshop, refinishing and upcycling furniture. I'm passionate about saving good but ugly furniture from the landfill and making it attractive and useful again. I enjoy travel, seeing everything there is to see, cooking with my son and his girlfriend back home in the Chicago area, spending lots of time with my partner, Tim and his adult son Connor, who has Down Syndrome. Connor is a movie buff and knows the words to every Christmas song I can find to play for him. Tim is training to be a dog trainer and works at a local K9 training and boarding center. He was in the Army as a K9 handler back in the day, has a prosthetic leg, can still hike, swim and mostly keep up with me, and he may occasionally be able to join me to transport items for Citizen Shipper. I'm a foodie, love the beach and the mountains, but mostly the beach, a good cook, care deeply for my fellow human beings and for animals of all types. Every living creature has a purpose and a place in this world/food chain, even if they are ugly and creepy - LOL! As far as transporting your beloved animal, I would love to be considered. Hello. I am Sky short for Skylar (which is my middle name). I am a certified pet transporter based in El Paso, TX. I absolutely adore animals and their health is my number one priority. In addition to transporting I also own a K9 boarding business, I am a former veterinary technician, and Presa Canario breeder. I love what I do and guarantee top notch care for your babies! Mesquite Creek Kennels is a family owned business. I previously had a partner drive with me - however I drive solo now. I guarantee the absolute best care for your precious babies! During your furbaby(s) journey with me... ♡ I ensure to provide free choice water and food (traveling can be stressful for some pets especially with people they don't know and some prefer to eat at night when it's quieter and others even take a day or so before they will eat at all.) ♡ I provide potty breaks every 4-5 hours but typically stop every 3-4 hours because I am extra and like to ensure everyone is traveling safely and comfortably. ♡ Puppies that are not fully vaccinated ( 3 or more Distemper/parvo vaccines) will not touch the ground! This is not negotiable, PARVO is everywhere and unfortunately is microscopic to the human eye. Therefore puppies are provided with a puppy litter in their crates and is cleaned everytime they potty. If they need a bath, we bath them. ♡ This is what we do, just an extra step to keep your babies clean and comfortable. ♡ Photos and Videos: These are taken in the morning and evenings - the reason for this is to help ensure a more time efficient transport. ♡ This one is very IMPORTANT - My phone is always on, you can reach me at anytime - HOWEVER - I am human and I do need sleep too. If you TEXT me I probably won't respond right away - if you NEED something please CALL so I wake up. I will ALWAYS send your morning and evening update prior to me resting for the night. ♡ DONT FORGET LOTS OF LOVE ♡ **Also please understand when booking with me I will provide you with a window for pick up/drop off - the reason for this is because you never know what could happen. Traffic is worse in some areas than others, bad weather results in delays, construction, sometimes we do have to pull over for a few hours for a catnap ( even though I try very hard not to) - and I have to eat too, fuel stops, and lastly please understand that transport is not just drive and go - potty breaks take time because I do one pet at a time - this allows them to stretch their legs and keeps all passengers separated and reduces stress for the furbaby(s). Unfortunately I have wheels not wings - I move as quickly but safely as humanly possible. ** Citizenshipper charges booking fees that are separate from the transport fee. This helps ensure that neither party gets scammed out of their money or time. I do not ask for any money up front when booking through citizenshipper as I use their booking fee as a "deposit" in a sense even though I am not receiving it. Payment for transport is half upon pick up, the other half upon drop off. For the safety of all animals on board and per USDA, Pets being transported with me are required to be fully vaccinated which includes Distemper/Parvo, Rabies, and Bordetella. For puppies they must have all age appropriate vaccinations (this does include bordetella - puppies can receive bordetella at 8 weeks old). Each pet must also be seen for a wellness for travel by a licensed veterinarian within the last 14 days prior to pick up. This helps ensure the safety and health of all passengers. I do also offer VIP rides however they are priced much differently than shared rides as they are receiving many accommodations. Aggressive dogs are also able to be transported, I am vet tech, this is not something I am not use to. However, an aggressive pet fee will apply ($100) I do also require our transport contract to be signed and returned prior to pick-up (this will be sent via text or email). I grew up on a small hobby farm in rural MN, with cats and larger mixed breed dogs, mainly German Shepherds and Collies, in addition to dairy cattle. I still live in MN but I have small dogs now, Cavaliers, with intentions of breeding next spring. We also have 2 cats. In the past we've owned birds and more recently a corn snake, so I've had experience with a variety of animals. As a kid, my family didn't travel much because of our dairy farm, but family vacations with my husband and our kids have awakened in me a desire to travel. We have included our Cavaliers on our vacations since adopting them 3 years ago, so now I've learned that combining pets with a road trip is a pretty hard combo to beat! I still have teens at home. We enjoy the flexible schedule of homeschooling, but we still have commitments for other activities, so my availability varies. I'll likely include 1 or more of my teens as I transport your pets, to give love, attention and reassurance during the drive.

I started transporting animals occasionally for a friend who fosters dogs and owns a Maine Coon cattery, and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to expand and offer my services to other people, now I spend about half my time at home and half my time on the road. I treat every animal put under my care with the same love and respect that I show to my own animals, and I'm so grateful to those of you who trust me with your pets 🩶 TRAVEL CONDITIONS: - GENERAL • All of my bids are for driving and solo transportation unless otherwise stated. • I stay at rest stops instead of hotels because I have a serious fear of getting bedbugs, but my car stays climate controlled throughout the whole night. • I offer food and water at every single stop, but most animals do not eat during these trips until we're settled down for the night. • Photos/updates will be sent every 2-3 hours. • GPS can be shared upon request - CATS • I have an XL cat carrier that streches across my back seat, it can comfortably fit 3 average size cats plus a small litter box. With 1-2 cats a food and water dish will also fit inside. ~ The added space and amenities compared to a normal carrier seem to drastically improve the comfort level for the cats and reduce anxiety. ~ If you would still prefer to use your own carriers, that's fine! ~ If you'd like to use mine but but still need yours transported, no problem! I have room to bring them with. • I will provide litter and water, but you must provide your own food. - DOGS • I have a "pet hammock" in the back seat for comfort and safety, and seatbelt attachments for dogs that are rowdy in the car. •Large dogs WILL fit comfortably in my car, there are several photos below of a 130ish pound mastiff in different positions in my car, he was able to lay comfortably in my back seat with the doors closed 😁 • I stop every 2-3 hours for us to stretch and use the bathroom. • You must provide your own food. - SMALL PETS • Please provide detailed care instructions. • This is the catagory most likely to end up combined with another family's shipment. ~ IF this happens, they will be kept completely separate from each other and never left unattended with larger animals. PAYMENT POLICY: - I accept Venmo, Paypal, or cash. - I do ask for 50% payment up front to offset travel expenses. I know the value of safe transport for all things, especially our pets. I offer a range of services for ground transport and stand behind quality over quantity. We offer Solo transports on all jobs. I do this because it is not quality if you have 5+ pets on one trip going to different addresses. Having other pets takes my attention away from your pet. So I just don't think it is fair to your pet. It also gives another level of proterction for your pet as other pets might be diseased and we wouldn't like that. Our equipment is washed and sanitized after every trip with Performacide. During the trip, if your pet has had the second parvo shot there will be more breaks where I will take them out of the crate and take a short walk so they can stretch and use the bathroom. I will send pictures at every chance I get, and I use google pins and life360 for location during the trip. I delivery from house to house or any public building that you would want me to pick up or deliver to. For payment arrangements, We Use Cash or CashApp. We don't use Paypal, Venmo, or other forms of payment. There are 3 ways to make it easier on you. 1. Payment upon Pick up (with CashApp). 2. Half at pickup and half at delivery (with CashApp). 3.Payment at Delivery (Cash and CashApp). If you have and questions you can message me, I try and keep the messaging on my phone so I can respond quickly. if I am driving, I do handsfree only so, it might be a few minutes before I respond. After You accept the bid, I will need an email so that I can send you 2 documents to fill out. You can print these out or digitally fill them out and send them back to the email I sent them from.
