Clients will be given a date and estimated time for each stop. Our driver's will show up, complete a care plan, meet your pet, load up and begin their journey. They send photos and updates twice a day but welcome requests for additional updates. At drop off we collect a signature, verify payment status, and unload your pet and belongings. Our drivers will take a moment to say goodbye to the pet. Following transport, provide your pet with extra food and water for 24 hours. I rent sedans and small SUVs to transport in and occasionally my Chevy Silverado pickup with King Cab. So I do not carry a lot of animals at once, usually one to three. I have also been 5-star Lyft driver for the past 7 yrs. Axle is my own dog and he will be accompanying your buddy on their trip. He loves all animals, including cats and even ones that he has no idea what they are, except for ducks!! I will provide frequent stops for restroom breaks, Stretch and play. All vaccines including kennel cough need to be up to date with proper documentation. I will provide frequent trip updates and pics if desired. I prefer the same food they have been eating for the trip to avoid any upset stomachs during the trip. Payment for transport is 1/2 due at booking, the remaining 1/2 due at pickup. I bill via Square which accepts all forms of credit, and debit. Venmo and cash payments can also be accepted. For shipments canceled within 72 hours of pickup, there is a small cancellation fee owed to the driver - by this time the driver might be on the road, having already invested time and resources. The fees are as follows: Canceled 48-72 hours before pickup: $50 cancellation fee owed to the driver Canceled 24-48 hours before pickup: $100 cancellation fee owed to the driver Canceled 0-24 hours before pickup: $100 -OR- 50% of the originally agreed fee owed to the driver, whichever is the greater of the two.
