Pets with underlying medical conditions may be more likely to have problems during transport. Elderly and obese pets may also be at higher risk. Getting your pet used to its traveling crate can really reduce stress while traveling Although it can be comforting to your pet to have a familiar-smelling item in its travel crate, avoid thick blankets, fluffy towels or cloth items that your pet can wrap itself or bury its nose in – this could increase the risk of respiratory problems. A very thin blanket or flat newspaper is best for lining the crate. Scheduling Pick-up and Delivery: You will be given a 3-day window of time for pickup and delivery. Pickup or delivery may be outside of normal business hours to keep on schedule and to meet your needs. We cannot guarantee specific pickup and delivery dates and times, especially on our shared rides. All dates for pickup and delivery are approximate. We will make every effort to meet the dates specified by you, but there can be unforeseeable circumstances which affect the dates given for transport which can include weather, road conditions, acts of God, etc. If no person is present at the time of transport and/or the above-described paperwork is not in order at the time of pick-up or delivery, we may have to continue without your pet. You may have to assume part of costs or booking fee. Emergency Care Authorization gives us permission to take your pet to a qualified veterinarian in the event they become ill during transport. We will make every effort to contact you prior to seeking emergency action. However, if you cannot be reached to have medical emergency treatment approved by you, we will use our discretion to ensure the well-being and health of your pet. You have to accept and be comfortable with the fact, the handler/driver may have to take photos and videos, with audio, featuring the individuals/parties and pets evolve with the transportation, as updates and to communicate the condition and wellbeing of the pets along the journey, some may be published on social media, group messages and or be used as proof of delivery or pickup. Scheduling - Length of Transport. You understand that there is no guarantee or promise made as to the length of time necessary to complete the transport of your pet. The duration of transport is determined by routing, weather, and traffic conditions and could potentially last up to 6 days for long cross country trips 3000 plus miles on shared rides due to delays. While this is rare, all efforts will be made to keep you informed and to keep your pet as comfortable and happy as possible. We provide transport services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be provided with estimated pick up and delivery dates. We will make every effort to arrive at convenient times, however, scheduling changes and unforeseen delays beyond our control may occur. DELIVERY. We will make every reasonable attempt to notify the person receiving the pet of our estimated time of arrival. If no one is available to receive the animal and/or we are unable to contact the responsible party, there will be a daily fee of $150 per pet for the cost of care and boarding. The party ordering the transport will be responsible for these charges. We recommend that alternate arrangements be made in the event the person responsible for receiving the animal is unable to do so. The receiving party must be available 24 hours a day. Cancelations 3 days before pick up may be subject to a 250$ fee or a rebooking fee PET WAY courier reserves the right to refuse transport of any pet due to misrepresentation at the time of scheduling as to the pet's ability to walk or stand of its own accord, or on a leash, and is of a size and weight that one person is able to pick up and carry. You can only bring along with your pet only a small bag with pet food, toys, bedding and any supplements/medications. We do not carry privately owned pet's crates, or dog houses for cats and dogs on shared rides, except when pet is being shipped to air transportation, and except for birds and other exotic pets. We do not carry along your cat's own litter box, we provide one. All pets are checked every 4 hours. Pictures, videos and updates will be sent at least once or more a day. Crates are sanitized once or more a day (we use pet friendly and certified products only) Adult dogs are walkout 3 or more times a day. Dogs with anxiety or advanced age get extra exercise time and walks a day. Puppies less than 16 weeks will not be walkout on public spaces. We proved extra exercise in a fenced mobile area set up in safe and clean ground only for lager puppy breads). Small breed puppies may be relocating do a sanitized larger transition crate for extra exercise (All surfaces are sanitized every 12 hours, including all crate's interior surfaces and door, food, water receptacles) Cat liter will be set up in crate, we provide litter box (we do not carry your pet's own litter box aboard in sheared rides) Driver will share live GPS tracking link along the trip, starting before pick up till delivery (due to network restriction this link may not during some periods) Driver will send updates via text message with pic and videos and voice messages at least once or more a day. Driver may not answer your call or text right away for being busy, due safety reasons, due brake time, due providing pet care/pet walks (please be comprehensive, cause driver is under big responsibility on hands, and need to be very focused) Updates and times will be provided by driver when he has that information updated with more accuracy, and it may be subject to changes due several factors. Hi! My name is Jill. I’m located in central Indiana, which makes it convenient to travel in any direction. I pull and rehabilitate pups from high kill shelters before placing them in their forever homes. I also Rover for many local clients. I’ve been training dogs for the last 20 years and have a deep love of all animals. While working in rescue, I recognized the need for reliable and SAFE transportation of pets. I’ve traveled cross-country with multiple dogs and cats of varying sizes and have significant experience handling flight risk animals. Your pet’s safety and well-being is my utmost concern. All kennels on board are Rufflands or Lucky Ducks. These are crash tested kennels and the safest rides for your pets. Crates are sanitized after each animal, as well as bowls, leashes, etc. Healthy travel is very important to me. Your pet should be CLEAN and in good grooming order. Any pet found to have pests or deemed unfit (physically or behavioral) for travel will result in a cancellation of transportation and loss of deposit. Large dogs should be familiar with kenneling and be able to load and unload without a fight. Proof of vaccination will be required within 48 hours of pickup. Failure to provide records may result in the cancellation of transportation and loss of deposit. Solo VIP travel is available upon request, as long as it doesn’t conflict with previously booked clients. Solo VIP travel will require a significantly higher fee. Flight nanny experienced. If you wish to fly your pet in cabin, vaccination records must be provided at least 72 hours prior to flight. Any cancellation after ticket has been booked will result in the loss of deposit. Please pack enough food for the duration of the trip, as changes in diet can result in upset tummies. Please provide the following for travel: harness, collar, and two leashes. Pets will be double leashed when outside of the vehicle. This is to ensure the safety of your pet, especially for more skittish travelers. If you are unable to provide these items, please advise within 48 hours of pickup. Payment over $1k: A 50% deposit is required at booking and can be made via Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, CashApp, or Apple Pay. The remaining balance must be paid at delivery. I also accept payment via Stripe, which offers payment plans for your transportation needs. Any bookings under $1k are due in whole at the time of booking. Please reach out for more information. Cancellations: Must be made 48 hours prior to pick up to allow for route alterations. Any cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to pick up will result in a loss of deposit. Damages: If your pet causes irreparable damage to crates or items on board, you will be assessed the cost of replacement. While I have high anxiety dog crates on board, they are not above destruction should you have a particularly challenging pet. This cost is due at delivery and must be paid prior to releasing the pet to its destination. I am a well-seasoned pet owner, rescuer, transporter, and traveler. What time not doing pet transports you can find me doing Walmart deliveries with close to 700 trips since Sept of 25 rated 4.9 out of 5. I'm also on Uship where not as active with 9 shipments but hold a 5 star rating on there as well. We do our best follow the golden rule of treating others way we’d like to be treated in everything we do. Since our founding in 2021, Good Times has gained alot of experience traveling with our furry friends, traveling all over the lower 48 in all kinds of weather and been dedicated to providing reliable and stress-free delivery services across the country, alot of times coast to coast. I'm the one that kinda gets everything going but during the trips they are the stars of the show, besides the pets of course🙂 **During the trip** Before we leave our hometown of Monticello KY I send you our location through either Google or apple maps that will last the entirety of the trip. We stop usually every 2-4 hours unless if the driving is good of the night and if the pets are napping and I'm not tired we might go a little longer. We send picture updates along with a text while stopped usually at every stop but if that's too much we completely understand🙂 We're always available for phone call or video calls unless out of service and for that satellite messaging with Verizon usually does pretty good. If your pet likes hikes, then they're not the only ones cause we do too and if time allows and your ok with it we'd be glad to adventure along the way and share the adventures through pictures and videos. For sleep we are fine with sleeping at a safe area on side of the road or in motels either way or if we are in a rental vehicle the wife can help drive. Mine is a manual trans and she can't drive it so on multi day trips we might be just a bit slower if we're in our own vehicle. **Payments & Booking** There is no other fees on our end besides hotel stays and we try to figure that in on our price. The price we bid doesn't go up though at anytime. Citizen Shipper charges a separate service fee at the time of booking, which goes directly to the platform. Our final price is our final price with no hidden fees. Once your booking is confirmed, I will reach out via call or text as soon as I see it or feel free to call or text the number listed and that’s my cell that you should feel free to get ahold of us anytime. After we talk we ask for a fully refundable deposit of half payment through usually Venmo Paypal and CashApp but right now due to out of date cards and I haven't got new ones yet. The only in date cards I have is cash app and one pay and I do apologize about that. The remaining balance is due at drop-off and can be paid using the same methods or in cash. After payment is sent I’ll send you a receipt through a text message and again at drop off or I can write receipts at dropoff. We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to be as flexible as possible. If we need to cancel for any reason, your deposit will be fully refunded. We love taking the roads less travelled and camping so after much consideration and many years traveling the roads less travelled across our beautiful country we are now offering these trips. Thanks to the help of Gaia gps we can travel cross the country rarely using any main highways mainly using a lot of gravel or off-road trails with many amazing picture worthy stops along the way. As much as we’d love to use our vehicle for this it’s just not ready yet so it’s a lot easier to rent in case something tears up so we rent from our awesome local enterprise where they put us in a later model Jeep truck or SUV. What your pet gets is a trip across the country going back in time before the interstates stopping at historic places along the way for pictures. We travel to National and State Parks so you have pictures of your pet in some of the most iconic places across the country all shot on a dslr camera for high quality pictures.
