Mona Leashes™LLC offers a wide range of tailored services, including flight nanny accompaniment and comfortable national ground transportation for a variety of animals, from birds to horses. Our priority is the safety and well-being of your pets, and we are committed to making your travel arrangements as accommodating and stress-free as possible. We welcome all dog breeds and also offer exclusive El Gato Go!™ Feline-Only trips. Established in 1996, Mona Leashes™LLC was initially organized to provide much-needed pet care services for members of the Military and Armed Forces when changes in orders required extended care or relocation of pets to family or friends across the US. Our service has since grown to become the preferred choice for many special-needs animals, sensitive exotics, contentious breeders, and emergency rescue and adoption organizations. We transport pets to forever homes anywhere in the US and offer discounted rates for non-profit organizations and active-duty Military through our partnership with Citizen Shipper. All of our Transporters are certified in American Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid and meet the current Class-T USDA registration requirements for animal transport. Your driver for CitizenShipper, Chelsie, has 30 years of experience in animal welfare and the expertise required to adapt care to meet the specific needs of each pet concerning their breed, age, and personality. Chelsie is a practicing VSA Fear Free™ Trainer and a graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology Program with an emphasis in Animal Behavior and Cognition. She also volunteers as an IWRC VA Wildlife Rehabilitator and Equine Rescue Transporter. In addition to her animal care experience, her 22 years of holding a Commercial Class-A license ensures that your pet will have an incredibly capable and safe driver! Mona Leashes™LLC offers both private VIP door-to-door service and shared-route discount rates for compatible animals. Our El Gato Go!™ exclusive Feline-Only trips feature an enclosed play area, hammocks, cubbies, and a filtered water drinking fountain to keep kitties feline fine! When space is available, we can provide boarding for most pets before departure or upon arrival to allow some flexibility for your schedule or possible flight changes. We deliver quickly, but frequent pet exercise, feeding, cuddles, and potty breaks are a must and are timed accordingly. Pets enjoy the extra care and attention they receive on a relaxed and reasonable schedule that allows the driver to put their well-being first. We stay in contact with your family throughout our travels with GPS tracking and photo updates. Pets are always supervised and accompanied overnight to keep them content and secure in pet-friendly locations. Unlike most price quotes sent from other CitizenShipper carriers, your offer from Mona Leashes™LLC is all-inclusive! Your quote includes our exceptional pet-care hours, planned trip mileage, pet supplies, plus any scheduled overnight lodging during the trip. While we are happy to provide any necessary items, it is best to maintain your pet’s regular diet, and include familiar toys or bedding that can provide comforting scents. We recommend supplying your food, kennel, bedding, and leashes whenever possible. Our rates on CitizenShipper have been competitively reduced, but you're still welcome to request a specific cost that fits your budget. As a small family-run company, our schedule fills quickly (especially for VIP Solo travel or Feline-Only trips), so please reserve your place with us as early as possible. We apologize to those of you we cannot serve at this time. We're happy to assist with referrals to other reputable transporters. Please keep in mind that we're often driving, tending to animals, and covering multiple time zones, but your business and patience are greatly appreciated! You can expect a response to your inquiries within the next 24 hours. Until then, unless CitizenShipper has made recent changes or updates to the process, the basic steps to book our service are outlined below. We sincerely hope you choose Mona Leashes™LLC to take extra-special care of your pets! Thank you for your time and consideration. _______________ HOW TO BOOK: By clicking the links in your notification, you can start exchanging messages with us. When ready, simply click "Book now". This takes you to a screen where you can review the separate CitizenShipper booking fee based on mileage, then click "Continue" to see the checkout screen. Once this fee is paid, you will be given the contact information for Mona Leashes™and may coordinate with your driver to make your pet's travel arrangements. **An image of the CS fee chart is included in our photos. Bid price is the final price- I do not tack extra fees for hotels, fuel, etc. Extremely important-There are a handful of crucial things that need either approval or confirmation such as the dates, vaccination records, weight of your pet, history of aggression, etc. etc. before you book. 2016 Acura & I rent small SUVs and minivans to transport ‼️I can also transport your animals in your own vehicle. And you can load up your vehicle with whatever you like. Ask for details. Pet and Auto Insurance Red Cross Dog and Cat First Aid Certification Animal Behavior College Pet CPR, CPCR, and First Aid University of Texas & Animal Behavior College in California Hello. I am Christian Meyer. I work with a rescue in Texas with my family. I started this venture doing rescue work and it quickly turned into cross country transporting. I got my start here on Citizenshipper in April of 2020. As of this summer I have over 300 transports with CS and over 1000 transports all together from repeat clients and referrals. I rent sedans and small SUVs to transport in and occasionally my Chevy Silverado pickup with King Cab. So I do not carry a lot of animals at once, usually one to three. I have built my reputation for my communication and my care and attention for my animals that I transport. I take their stress very seriously and try to bond and comfort them on their cross country journey. From the moment you are reading this right now all the way to delivery our communication and availability "is second to none" "systematic and thorough". From pick up we will contact you every 2 to 3 hours with GPS location markers, photos, and updates on how your pet is doing. Preparations before transport we contact you a week before pick up and the day before pick up and are available anytime for last minute changes, concerns, or questions. We are heavily experienced in 8 to 10 week old puppies all the way up to elderly dogs that require assistance, medication, and special care. We work to establish a bond with each animal that we transport and try to connect with them to let them know that we are there for them. Though there are many aspects as far as navigation, car maintenance, scheduling and whatnot, caring for your pet is our first priority. I am certified in Red Cross animal first aid, Animal Behavior College Pet CPR, CPCR, First Aid and have insurance for your pet as well as full coverage insurance on our vehicle and roadside assistance. Please see our reviews and photos to get a good idea of what to expect from us and see if that we are a good fit for you. I will also send you a complete breakdown of how everything works from booking all the way to delivery. CANCELLATIONS: All deposits are non-refundable. However if for some reason we would have to cancel on you, you would receive 100% of your deposit back.

Please understand.... all furtravelers must be healthy and up to date on vaccines with proof for transport. Also, as stated in my introduction... please contact us to verify availability before booking and understand if there is severe, treacherous weather brewing, fires or tornados, flooding etc . ... we may have to reschedule or stop and wait it out to ensure safety for all. My name is Kara and I am a retired Traveling RN that absolutely adores all creatures big and small. I have traveled all across the US to work various ERs but always manage to work and take care of/ transport others animals along the way (dogs, cats, horses, goats, rabbits, llamas, mules and even lizards). I am a pet lover and have had a variety of pets and rescue animals throughout my life. I am also knowledgeable in animal first aide/ CPR. I believe in being prepared to render life saving aide to all God's creatures. I will love, play with and take care of each furbaby as my own, provide a comfortable and safe ride during transport, as well as keep you updated through text, pics and video chats along the journey. My mom will also be assisting with the care and updates during transport, when she is able to travel. Please be advised when shipping your fur baby you may send a tote or box no larger than a 5 lb bag of dog food. Please label your bag so we can make sure your items arrive safely. If items are not labeled we do not guarantee delivery, as the driver needs to pay attention to the animals on board. If you need additional space we can provide it for a fee. This is for the safety of everyone on board. Delivery We will make every reasonable attempt to notify the person receiving the pet of our estimated time of arrival. If no one is available to receive the pet and/or we are unable to contact the responsible party, there will be a daily fee of $150 per pet to defray the cost of care. The party ordering the transport will be responsible for these charges. We recommend that alternative arrangements be made in the event the person responsible for receiving the pet is unable to do so. The receiving party MUST be available 24 hours a day. We give a 30 minute grace period for deliveries, any time after that will be charged the daily fee. We keep in constant contact for Pickup/Deliveries so no pet is sitting and waiting. On multi pet transports we cannot make adjustments to our route to accommodate certain drop off times. Receiving party needs to be available at all times on estimated delivery date. If you can not be at drop off location at the time of delivery someone else must be there to receive pet. In event this happens balance of transport fee is due to driver before drop off. Pets will not be released until payment is made and cleared with driver. If COD is agreed upon while booking and no one is available to receive pet then breeder/seller is responsible for the transport fee and return transport fee to return pet to breeder/seller By booking us you agree to the terms above. If you have any questions we are here to help.

Pickup and delivery dates must be discussed prior to booking. FAQ are at the bottom of the page ALL items must fit within a large gift bag or backpack. If there are additional items that will not fit in that size we need to know prior to booking. If there are additional items our ability to transport them is subject to availability and an additional fee may apply *Payment is required in full upon delivery for ground transportation **make sure the person who will be completing payment is either at the delivery location or will be available when we get there to deliver as we are unable to leave until receiving payment and charge $50 for every half hour we have to wait** For flight nanny jobs 50% non refundable deposit is required after booking and the other 50% is due upon delivery. * We accept payment upon delivery with cash, cashapp, zelle, or venmo. VERY IMPORTANT: we drive through the day and night, because of this we DO NOT have the ability to wait hours for pickup/drop off. Please understand these hours waiting mean more time your pet and/or other pets are sitting in a vehicle and they are hours we are away from our family. We try our best to give the most accurate timeframes we can but in the thousands of miles we drive per week there are so many things that can happen with changes in bookings, weather, traffic, care level needed, ECT. If you have specific times you will be unavailable for any reason we MUST be informed prior to booking, if it is not disclosed and agreed upon prior to booking there will be a $50 fee per hour we have to wait. We are usda certified, red cross pet cpr/first aid certified pet transporters. We are open and honest about everything we do and will answer any question. We strive for 100% pet satisfaction. The safety and care of the animals we transport is what's most important to us. We hope to help you transport your pet to their home safely, quickly, and with passion and care. We're a family owned and operated company. A little bit about us Our team: Brianna- I handle all of the bookings and scheduling and I am one of the drivers on the majority of our trips. Sheila (my mom)- previously a respiratory therapist currently a corgi breeder and my other lead driver. Either her or myself are on all ground transports and we handle all of the communication during the trip. John (my uncle)- retired fabricator and is one of my drivers. All of our ground transports are a 2 person team Thank you for your time no matter your choice we wish your pet safe and happy travels. But remember there is no better couple to transport your paws than a couple of paws. **Frequently asked questions** Q.) Are there any hidden or extra charges? A.) The only charge other than our bid is a fee citizenshipper charges for the use of their site, the citizenshipper fee is NOT included in our bid. Q.) How many pets do you transport at a time? A.) We average at 4-5 at a time, however the exact amount just depends on the sizes of each pet. Q.) Do you require crates? A.) We do not require crates for non aggressive dogs. If your dog is not friendly with other animals they would have to ride in a crate. If you prefer your pet rides in a crate let us know so we can have one available. If we are not informed ahead of time I cannot guarantee one will be available. Q.) Do you recommend we get something from the vet for anxiety? A.) Yes, some dogs do absolutely wonderful the entire time and do not need anything for anxiety, some dogs are super anxious and would definitely benefit having something for anxiety. It would be better to send something for anxiety and not need it than not send it and your dog is one who would benefit from having it. Q.) What kind of vehicle do you use? A.) We typically use rental minivans Q.) How does this all work? A.) After completing the booking we get the addresses and phone numbers for pickup and drop off. We send you a picture upon pickup and 2-3 pupdates a day. We try our best to do it around breakfast, lunch, and dinner however we cannot guarantee the exact times. We stop every 4-5 hours for bathroom, walking, and water (Pets are not let out during any extreme weather conditions) Pets will be fed based on the schedule given to us by the breeder/owner. Q.) Is your quote discounted already? A ) If the description mentions that you're military, senior citizen or first responder the bid will include the discount. The quote without our 10% discount is what will be charged in the event proof cannot be provided if asked. You must book at least 1 week out to qualify for the discount. Q.) What age dogs do you transport? A.) We transport dogs from the ages of 8 weeks up to 10 years old. We do not transport dogs over the age of 10 Q.) Why don't you transport pets over 10? A.) We prefer to avoid transporting dogs over 10 because even though we do our best to keep your pets happy and calm, travel has the ability to cause anxiety or stress on pets and older pets have a higher likelihood to have medical issues because of it. I care very deeply about all of the pets we transport and the added worry that we have impacts my ability to get enough sleep so I decided to no longer transport older dogs so we can continue to provide fast, safe, reliable transport. Q.) How do you transport cats? A.) We feed based off of the schedule provided to us by the owner, water bowl is attached to the door of the crate and is filled halfway at each stop, a litter box is placed at the back of the crate and is cleaned 2x a day. When picking up from the same household we do 1 cat in a medium crate, 2 cats in a large crate, or 3 cats in an XL crate. Q.) Can I provide my own crate? A.) If you have a PLASTIC crate you can provide it we just need to be informed beforehand. We cannot transport pets in metal crates due to USDA regulations. Q.) Do you offer flight nanny services? A.) Yes, we have flight nannies if you specify in your description that you prefer a flight nanny we will give you a quote for airport to airport travel; if you want/need a pickup or drop off from a location other than the airport make sure to let us know for an updated bid. Q.) How long will this take? A.) Unless there are extreme weather delays all trips are under 5 calendar days, the average is 2-4 calendar days. Q.) Is this door to door service? A.) Our ground transportation is door to door service except for locations on a military base, if on a military base we can meet right outside of the base or a location nearby. Q.) How long are dates good for? A.) Dates are only good for up to 24 hours, after that you would need to reconfirm prior to booking due to potential changes or spots no longer being available. Q.) Do you have issues with communication? A.) It really depends on who you ask, the people who you are communicating with are the transporters that have your pet. We do not stop at hotels at night to provide faster transportation and by doing that our drivers sleep in shifts. So sometimes it takes longer to receive a response, if one driver is sleeping and the other is driving you will not receive a response until we arrive at a gas station and are able to safely respond to your message. Q.) Do you transport agressive pets? A.) Yes, if they're aggressive towards people they are to remain in the crate for the entire duration of the trip. Food and water is given through the crate and pictures are taken from the outside of the crate. If they're good with people just not other animals then while the car is in motion they are in the crate but they're let out at stops and just kept away from the other pets. Q.) Can my pet have a blanket/toy with them? A.) You can if you'd like to, however if you decide you want it with them you are accepting that we cannot guarantee the condition of how it arrives. We transport multiple pets so the item may get damaged from play, pee, poop, and/or vomit. Q.) When will you be able to give me a timeframe for pickup/drop off? A.) The day before pickup/delivery is when we'll have our most accurate timeframe (2 hour window) but it is not guaranteed if there are circumstances beyond our control. We can give you a rough estimated time before that based on what our previous trips would typically be but our most accurate time frame will be given the day before Q.) Do you drive in the snow? A.) Yes we do, we try to avoid it when reasonably possible however since we do trips year round it's sometimes unavoidable. We ask for patience and understanding with delays or slight changes in the schedule as safety is our #1 priority and we will not drive in a way that causes further risk to our safety or the safety of the pets who we are entrusted with. I keep a very close eye on the weather forecast throughout the entire trip and may have to adjust the specific route we take based on road closures and the severity of the weather conditions. If it is too bad or have to stop because of road closures we will get a pet friendly hotel room where we will stay with your pet until we are able to continue and keep you updated as normal. Q.)What information is needed from me? A.) We need a copy of the shot records, any pickup/delivery addresses and phone numbers, any and all medical conditions (failure to disclose releases a couple of paws from all liability) Q.) Do you offer GPS tracking? A.) This varies by trip, we have worked with several high profile clients and require a signed NDA. When we are in situations like that we are unable to provide tracking. The trips where we're allowed to share GPS we share it via Google maps. Q.) Do you smoke? A.) I used to, I finally quit (yay) in November 2021. *By booking with us you are agreeing to all of our policies and procedures as listed in our about me section*
