I started transporting animals occasionally for a friend who fosters dogs and owns a Maine Coon cattery, and I enjoyed it so much that I decided to expand and offer my services to other people, now I spend about half my time at home and half my time on the road. I treat every animal put under my care with the same love and respect that I show to my own animals, and I'm so grateful to those of you who trust me with your pets 🩶 TRAVEL CONDITIONS: - GENERAL • All of my bids are for driving and solo transportation unless otherwise stated. • I stay at rest stops instead of hotels because I have a serious fear of getting bedbugs, but my car stays climate controlled throughout the whole night. • I offer food and water at every single stop, but most animals do not eat during these trips until we're settled down for the night. • Photos/updates will be sent every 2-3 hours. • GPS can be shared upon request - CATS • I have an XL cat carrier that streches across my back seat, it can comfortably fit 3 average size cats plus a small litter box. With 1-2 cats a food and water dish will also fit inside. ~ The added space and amenities compared to a normal carrier seem to drastically improve the comfort level for the cats and reduce anxiety. ~ If you would still prefer to use your own carriers, that's fine! ~ If you'd like to use mine but but still need yours transported, no problem! I have room to bring them with. • I will provide litter and water, but you must provide your own food. - DOGS • I have a "pet hammock" in the back seat for comfort and safety, and seatbelt attachments for dogs that are rowdy in the car. •Large dogs WILL fit comfortably in my car, there are several photos below of a 130ish pound mastiff in different positions in my car, he was able to lay comfortably in my back seat with the doors closed 😁 • I stop every 2-3 hours for us to stretch and use the bathroom. • You must provide your own food. - SMALL PETS • Please provide detailed care instructions. • This is the catagory most likely to end up combined with another family's shipment. ~ IF this happens, they will be kept completely separate from each other and never left unattended with larger animals. PAYMENT POLICY: - I accept Venmo, Paypal, or cash. - I do ask for 50% payment up front to offset travel expenses. The other 50% will be paid at drop off. - The website does charge a booking fee that I have no control over. ** I DO NOT WORK WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE RUDE OR DISRESPECTFUL **

Hello!! I’m Tammy Jo of TJ’S Pet Transportation. I have taken a few years off from transporting to help out with a sick family member. I am expanding into some light weight hauling as well. I am ready to hit the road again! I started out in the pet business over 30 years ago when I got my first job working on a farm at the age of 15. The summer I turned 18 I learned how to groom and went on to manage a pet supply store. 25 of those years I spent grooming, learning dog behavior, proper care and first aid. Making sure that your pet is healthy, happy and safe while it is with me is my number one priority. It doesn't matter if your special baby is full of energy or shy, they are the pet for me. I have a Standard Poodle and she loves babies. So the transition will be less stressful and as seamless as possible. Here at TJ’S Transportation I make sure and stop every 3 hours so they can stretch their legs and go potty unless your baby hasn’t been fully vaccinated. In that case they are provided potty pads that are changed every three hours or sooner so we can keep your baby clean. Our days last around 12 hours with 8 of those being actual drive time. The other four hours a dedicated to potty breaks, play time and having some down time so they can eat. By the end of the day we are all ready for some quite rest. Things I will need from you if you choose to use my services for your pet... Current shot records, health certificate from a vet and food for the trip. Please remember upon bid conformation I require a %50 deposit and the remaining balance upon delivery. The health and safety of all the pets I transport come first. When it comes to hauling I provide blankets, straps and an appreciation for others items. I have moved more times than I care to remember and was taught how to tie things down by a long time trucker. I grew up on a small hobby farm in rural MN, with cats and larger mixed breed dogs, mainly German Shepherds and Collies, in addition to dairy cattle. I still live in MN but I have small dogs now, Cavaliers. We also have 3 cats, including a Maine Coon. In the past we've owned birds and more recently a corn snake, so I've had experience with a variety of animals. As a kid, my family didn't travel much because of our dairy farm, but family vacations with my husband and our kids have awakened in me a desire to travel. We have included our Cavaliers on our vacations since adopting them 3 years ago, so now I've learned that combining pets with a road trip is a pretty hard combo to beat! We still have teens at home. We enjoy the flexible schedule of homeschooling, but we still have commitments for other activities, so my availability varies. I include 1 or more of my teens as I transport your pets, to give love, attention and reassurance during the drive, and to monitor their needs.

WPT specializes in cross-country, long distance transports. We prefer to do private transport and rarely travel with multiple pets. Our focus is creating the least stressful ride for pets. We strive to provide safe and calm travels for the animals traveling with us. We strive for on-time pick ups and deliveries. Please understand that road conditions, weather events, or other situations that are out of our control may cause delays. WPT always works hard to deliver pets safely and on time but, flexibility with pick up and drop off times is necessary. Often, on long distance transports, we will use rental vehicles, including vans, large SUVs, and midsize SUVs. Most rented vehicles are 2024 and 2025 models. WPT is a family owned business. Our drivers consist of our family and a couple of well trusted, retired teachers. We have years of safe driving and have logged over 1,000,000 miles on the roads and in the air. We pick up/deliver your animals with care and respect. Sometimes we drive as a team. Sometimes we do solo transports with only a driver as the transporter. My sons call themselves the “puppy mannies” when they are a part of the transport team. We specialize in VIPuppy transports and only rarely combine multiple transports from different breeders or homes at one time. Our price reflects dedication to transporting your pet in a quality manner with as little travel stress as possible on pets. We make sure that animals are well cared for, exercised, and carefully fed throughout the journey. Rest breaks are always in clean areas. Puppies four months and younger are never on the ground. We sanitize and clean carriers consistently during transports. We make sure the ride is as comfortable as possible. Vehicles are spotless. We stay in touch during transport (unless we are in a cell phone dead zone). We always share our location via GPS, Send texts or messages every 3 to 4 hours, send pictures and videos from time to time, and will call and talk if you need us. We want to keep the pups safe and healthy. -If place, time and/or date of pick up and delivery is changed after a retainer is made, there is a $100 to $500 change fee(depending on the difficulty in logistics changes). Every transport job is a part of a bigger logistics route. If a client wants a different location, date, and/or pick up or drop off, other clients are inconvenienced and a fee is charged. -Our price is separate from CitizenShipper's fee. Citizenship charges a separate booking fee, and this is independent of WPT's Fee. Our fee is inclusive with no extra hidden charges. -Arrival times are estimates and are subject to change due to weather, traffic, road work, human rest breaks, and pet rest breaks. -We do not participate in financial transactions between breeders and buyers nor do we help facilitate cash transactions. We only pick up, transport, and deliver. -Final payment is always due immediately upon delivery. -Please don't ask WPT to cancel our transport on the Citizenshipper forum. If customers change their minds about purchasing a pet transport, cancellation is a buyer's responsibility. Once our services are secured and a bid is accepted, we have committed to you. Favorite crates, beds, blankets, and toys are encouraged. I will make calls, videos and/or take Pictures and video chat during scheduled breaks or as often as you would like. I have a gps verifier app and will update my location at every stop. I will take the time your pet needs to feel and be safe and comfortable while traveling. If your fur babies have special needs, illnesses, is elderly, has allergies, is on medicine or a special diet, always make sure they are cleared to travel by a veterinarian. I will fly with your pet also. Only pets under 20 lbs for flying. Same day or over night. I will stay with your fur baby at all times. You have to officially book me through Citizenshipper and pay the separate Citizenshipper fee before Citizenshipper will release my contact information. Book asap so your dates and price are locked in for you. Please verify I am available before booking. Until officially booked , you are not guaranteed to have the dates and price saved for you. I have retired from Healthcare. I have my CDL and have driven many miles. I have delivered many pets outside of this app. I stop every few hours for walks, water and potty breaks. New puppies do not touch the ground. I disinfect each kennel after it is used. We will love and care for your fur baby like our own.
