We are Vince and Joy, a husband/wife transport team. This IS what we do, not a side hustle, hobby or just a means to let you pay for our summer vacation. Pets are ALL we do. Not pets and boats, motorcycles, pallets of whatever…just pets. On the ground or in the air, we have you covered with door to door transport of your beloved pets. Vince is a retired, disabled Army combat veteran who now has the coolest job in the world getting paid to play w animals. He is currently studying at Animal Behavioral College to be a certified cat and dog trainer when he (hopefully) grows up. We do NOT outsource to other delivery companies. Some things are too important to delegate to others, so from pickup to delivery, Pet Chariot is with you all the way. Family operated business, so team drivers and on-board caregivers (when applicable) are trusted and operating to our standards. Both ground and air transport are available and each have their pros and cons. All initial bids are for ground transport only. Air transport bids are separate and only valid for 24 hours. Air transport trips require 50% deposit at time of booking. If you choose air transport, your pet will need a travel certification from your local vet. You will need to provide a FAA approved pet crate. (Walmart crates are usually travel approved). If you don’t have one, Pet Chariot can provide them for an additional fee. Be it ground or air transport, we are with your pet personally from beginning to end and we do NOT outsource to 3rd party expeditors. That being said...let's talk about air transport vs grand transport. Many ask me which method I prefer or recommend. To be honest, I always prefer ground transport when available. Although air transport is certainly faster, it requires more paperwork and it's quite stressful and traumatic for the pets. (Not to mention an airplane is a flying Petrie dish). If the plane is too loud for our own comfort, imagine how your pet feels about it. I offer both services, but if you ask my opinion, I will always choose ground transport. Even if ground transport costs more due to fuel expenses, I believe it's much less stressful on the pet...not to mention all the exciting new places you pet gets to smell along the way! All ground pet transports are done with the company van, even the regional short runs. This enables us to maintain crates and feeding without needing to put pets on the ground. That means when we transport young pets, they are contained within the climate controlled van the entire trip and aren’t exposed to anything unthinkable along the way. Controlled, secured, contained environment the whole trip. Crates and contact surfaces are hydrostatic sterilized between pets. Not just wiped down and cleaned, but fully sterilized to minimize disease transmission. Might be OCD to some, but when it comes to pets, especially babies, OCD can be a good thing. Spotless driving record. No moving violations in over 20 years and no at-fault accidents EVER. Red Cross certified for pet first aid and CPR USDA Certified for animal transport. Insured through Petcare Based out of Nashville, TN Veteran with military-specific training in transport (bus and semi-trucks) with proof of training available. Non-smoker. Lifelong pet owner. Well versed in the “check, double-check” way of life, so we know the value of procedure. Redundant hookups anytime we are walking or transitioning your pet (sometimes, OCD matters). All pets are air-tagged so you can track their journey and we provide regular photo and video updates. Hands free communication during the duration of the trip. NOTE: Your service fee with citizen shipper is a separate transaction. You are paying them for their service as a broker and you pay us separately for our service as a transporter once you accept our bid. Please confirm the dates with us before approving the bid or you risk your bid being cancelled. 25% non-refundable deposit required to book the transport. (Sorry we have to ask for a deposit, but last minute cancellations force us to alter entire routes). (50% required for air transport). We are in the business of diligent transport and like elsewhere in the transit industry, a route isn’t booked until it’s booked. We are unable to “pencil in” or reserve routes unless they are officially booked through citizen shipper. Thanks for your understanding. Unless otherwise specified, bids are for shared transport where there may be other pets on board. -All initial bids are for ground transport. Air transport bids will be separate. -All pets are crate secured, are walked separately and never come into direct contact with each other. -for pets under 16 weeks, we maintain a no paws on the ground policy to minimize the risk of parvo, distemper or other disease. -VIP (solo) routes are priced separately, so feel free to request a VIP bid if you prefer.

I have and pets all my life as well as growing up on a farm. I am a certified vet assistant. I am familiar with pet CPR as well as first aid. I can administer any medication if needed during our travels. Ive recently obtained a certification in dog training. I’ve spent 3 months volunteering at a no kill shelter. At the shelter I helped with basic obedience to help the dogs find their forever home. I currently own a German shepherd, and a bulldog. So I’m aware of the issues with snub nose dogs.
