Hey there! I’m a lifelong animal lover and travel enthusiast, and I am here to combine my passions. My mission is simple: love on all the animals! Whether it's bringing your furry family member home or assisting with a special trip, I am here to meet your needs and accommodate your schedule. ABOUT ME: My name is Erin, and I am located in the Central Region of Maryland. I have one dog, a 7 year old, beautiful Cane Corso / Pitbull mix named Monster. I joined CitizenShipper in March and have since had the pleasure of transporting as far North to Canada and West to Arizona. I love this work and I would love to work with you and your pet! ________________________________________ What Sets Me Apart • Safety First: I prioritize your pet’s well-being every step of the way. Pets travel comfortably with me in the open space, or in my human companion’s lap in my Jeep Wrangler as pictured. • Regular Updates: Stay connected with GPS tracking, updates every 3 - 4 hours, and pictures at stops. Your pet’s journey is shared with love and care. Preparing for the Journey • Supplies: While I have all necessary supplies, it’s not abnormal for your pet to have a favorite blanket, toy, or preferred food. I recommend clients provide their preferred food, harness, bedding, and toys. I also have a cargo attachment for my Jeep that I'd be happy to transport your crates, and any other additional supplies. Using this attachment allows me to take additional and larger supplies without comprising the space and comfort set up for your pet. • Medication: If your pet requires medication, I’ll need clear instructions. • Travel Stops: I ensure your pet’s comfort by stopping for walks and meals. Meals can be scheduled per your request, and I typically stop every 3 hours. Extreme weather (rain, heat, snow) may limit outdoor activities for safety. Contract / Payment Options • I have a simple two-page contract that I send via eMail for electronic signature • Deposit: A 50% deposit is required no later than 3 days prior to pick-up. Payments can be made via Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, Debit or Credit Card. Note: A 3.5% fee will be attached to credit card payments. • Balance Due: The remaining balance is paid upon delivery, at which time cash is also accepted. Frequently Asked Questions • How Long Will the Trip Take? The duration depends on the distance. Once your reservation is confirmed, I’ll plan the route and send you an itinerary outlining typical gas stops and overnight locations, providing you with an estimated timeframe for your pet's journey. • Are There Hidden Fees? There is a 3.5% surcharge for Credit Cards. CitizenShipper charges a separate fee for using their platform. I was looking for last minute transportation because of an emergency and Safe Paws was my saving grace! They worked with me, created a plan, and stuck to the schedule the entire time so I didn’t have any surprises. They also communicated immediately any concerns about my dog or her needs. My dog was treated as if she was one of their own and it definitely showed when she arrived. If I ever have transport needs or an emergency again Safe Paws will be the first I contact.

With myself being very picky, working with Erin was an absolute pleasure! She was extremely communicative and made me feel confident everything was under control and it was. I did not have to worry for one moment. She had a plan from beginning to end to get my puppy to me quickly and safely, especially with a last minute request. Since the moment erin picked up my puppy she was updating me. The trip was smooth and got To my house in great timing. I felt so relaxed knowing my puppy was in good hands and would highly recommend anyone looking for transport to use Erin. She was amazing.

Erin was fantastic- from her initial contact which was fast, professional and clear to her ongoing communication (lots of updates throughout transport and even before to make sure all was set up and ready) to her ongoing communication time delivery of our dog Maple. Erin’s bid was competitive and fair from the start. She was flexible about when the transport would happen. And when Maple arrived, it was clear Maple thought Wrin was her new best friend. I can’t recommend her enough. She told me she wanted to combine two passions- love of animals and travel - for this gig. Her enthusiasm and dedication show. Thanks for a job so well done!
