This must be updated with specific wording and a vet given treatment for the New World Screw Worm as directed by receiving state. We drive a Chevy pickup truck. Custom built in-cab USDA pet transport as well as multiple trailers available both open and enclosed with heat and ac. Or just a straight bumper pull. I am flexible and go anywhere! Although all rates are negotiable I start with vehicles and bumper pulls at $1.50 a mile. Pets At .65/mile and VIP pets $3/mile. There is always some flexibility if I can grab another pick up or drop nearby. And unless you have multiple pups to move. My max coast to coast charge is $1200. I do my best to not kill your wallet and spoil your babies. All animals require a copy of shot records and a USDA 7001 (or other approved Health Certificate) from your vet as I am a USDA Certified Transporter. If you cannot get one prior to travel I can assist with that, just let me know. Some animals that are considered “exotic” may specifically require certain travel permits. Written Contract with Shipper outlining terms will be done prior to pick up and is required. Upon acceptance of bid thru this site, you are agreeing to the terms of my written contract. A signed contract is still required. Also if whatever your shipping causes damages to my equipment or if any damages occur during pick up all the way to drop it will be your financial responsibility. There are cancellation fees should you decide to cancel the job after accepting my bid on this site. This aligns with Citizen Shipper policy. Cancelations: Sometimes plans just change - you might need to cancel a shipment after booking. I understand and sympathize! Please understand that once you decide to book me many hours, usually up to 20 or more hours can be spent working on your route just in the first few days planning the logistics. I may be working on other commitments booking routes to your pick up, along the journey, and after drop off. Choosing to cancel can negatively affect my business into the $100s if not $1,000s on top of all the hours lost spent working on your route. If cancellation is with a few days of booking or you refuse to finish paperwork, $250 flat fee. If cancellation is 2 weeks before the pick update. Day 15 or longer: full refund. If the cancellation is within 2 weeks but less then 1 week. Day 14 to day 7: 50% refund If the cancellation is less than 7 days. On day 6 or less: No refund. All vehicles require proof of ownership and should be empty when shipping. (Max 100 pounds of personal items in any vehicle). Watercraft needs to be wrapped for long hauls, all loose and electronic type of gear, fishing gear etc removed. And plug removed. And finally I am a small business and Citizen Shipper is a connection platform. They are not my employer. I am my own boss. As such your ad's description is great but not always reasonable or legal for transport. All terms will be discussed and contracted in writing. Also, back seats, beds, cloth and blankets CANNOT properly be sanitized, so there is no way to eliminate viruses or follow proper biohazard control between animals. (Since posting this detail in our profile many transporters have now changed theirs to match, please ask HOW they sanitize, as this this extremely important) Be informed, and just because they’re the cheapest, does not mean that your pet will be safe. When it’s your pets safety at stake, we believe IT MATTERS. ❤️ Another dead giveaway is very new profiles bidding transports extremely low, or much less than other companies, phrases used like “USDA licensed” (as they do not license anyone) and transport companies claiming to be “licensed veterinary technicians.” (This is a separate individual license that is regulated in each state, and cannot practice in other states where they are not carrying a license- additionally that license is easily looked up online by the public and only under direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian) My personal favorite- “501(c)3 organizations” claiming to also be transportation companies- while the claim sounds wonderful, it’s absolutely 100% false, on principle by law, organizations that hold 501(c)(3) status must not serve any private interests, and their earnings must be used for charitable purposes ONLY. Does transporting animals for hire sound charitable? So it’s a lovely story, but a story, and nothing more. These are just a few of the scams that we want people to be on the lookout for, and things they can use to identify less than reputable practices. And as always, check references on other PLATFORMS for presence elsewhere too! Real, honest, reliable operations always have a presence. You’ll also see transporters claiming hotels are better than NOT leaving your pet unattended. We strongly disagree as hotels have pet weight limits, and cost you more. No USDA means they’re transporting illegally. No background check means that. Look for those checks on profiles! Please be careful out there folks! And most importantly, ask questions and make sure you’re talking to a real person. 💯 Many companies use autobid and simply subcontract your transport out to another person for a lower rate. We’re always happy to answer any questions you have, anytime! Please let us know your departure date/time and your expected arrival if you are on both the shipping and receiving ends so that we can try to accommodate the pickup/delivery times accordingly. We strongly encourage pet parents to make accommodations when necessary at the other end for the pets arrival as we do not wish to board any pets any longer than necessary after transportation to their destination. (They also really want to not just be bored and not doing anything exciting either) Please make alternate arrangements if your travel plans are delayed, extended, or taking the scenic route. While we do try to be understanding of individual or emergency circumstances, please understand that we cannot “hang out” with your pet for additional hours/days in the delivery area while you visit friends/family etc. Additionally these delays affect other people, and animals on our current, and future routes and we ask you to please be thoughtful of them too. We specialize in long distance cross country Private, semi private and shared transport having no more than 4 pets at a time (unless more from the same family) so please understand that our pricing is not currently flexible due to the current extremely high gas prices. Transporting up to only 4 pets at a time significantly reduces the amount of stress especially for those anxious travelers. I never outsource your pets to another company so your driver will always be myself or Kris doing mostly private or semi private rides. Our shared transport transport option is also available for a more budget friendly and fast trip with my two other amazing drivers. We are all USDA licensed which is legally required by federal law to transport an animal over state lines. We have well over a million amazing safe miles combined in all kinds of crazy weather conditions and have years of experience working with all kinds of animals. We only stop at fun clean spots for potty breaks and have a no paws on the ground policy for puppies 16 weeks and younger. We love road trips so your pet will be well taken care of with plenty of love, walks, treats and toys on their trip home. Your pets health and safety are our number one priority and we work hard to ensure a 5 STAR PAWSOME EXPERIENCE for both you and your pet. My standards are high but for good reason. Our cross country trips take no more than 4 to 6 days just depending on any weather, traffic, or unforseen delays. It can become quite stressful for your pet to be traveling continuously for 7 or more days in a crate with multiple other pets. If your pet is traveling on one of our shared ride trips they will be traveling in a XL large comfy crate for the trip. This provides an extra level of safety for your pet especially on a long trips when we occasionally go through severe weather conditions on the road. It also prevents them from jumping around and playing inside the vehicle eliminating the chance of accidentally unlocking doors or windows and preventing potential escapees and keeps your pet safe if there is ever an accident. If your pup is not dog friendly they will be required to travel in a nice comfy crate or do a private trip. We do provide all crates and all our vehicles are climate controlled at all times for everyone's comfort and we are all non smokers as well. When doing a private trip, your pup can enjoy the back seat with a doggie hamock and seat belt to keep them comfy and safe. We stay at pet friendly hotels overnight to get a good nights sleep and take a break from the car. If we become delyed for any reason we will try to safely make up the time and stay over at a safe travel center, get some rest and get back on the road early. All cats are required to travel in one of our large comfy crates for the duration of the trip. We do not allow them to travel in any soft carriers. Bonded pairs are welcome to share a crate but if your cat is not too friendly with other cats even in their own family they will need to travel in their own nice large comfy crate for the trip for everyone's safety! We are punctual and reliable and always do our best to get your pet home to you safely, happy, healthy and on time. Since we are fully insured and USDA Licensed, all puppies MUST be 8 weeks of age at the time of pick up and a health certificate is required. The health certificate from your vet states that the puppy is UTD with shots and is well and healthy enough for travel and is valid for 10 days. All other dogs are REQUIRED to be up to date with Rabies, Bordatella and Distemper vaccines for travel. Cats must be up to date with Rabies, FVRCP and Feline Leukimia for Kittens. We will need copies of their shot record which your vet can email you. Please keep in mind that if we experience bad or dangerous weather situations we will stop driving and wait out the storm or re route and go around the storm so this may cause a delay. If there is a hurricane, tornado, icey roads, snow storms, hail storms, flooding or other dangerous weather conditions, some trips may have to be rescheduled and we will do our best to get your pet on the next available spot or as soon as safely possible. This may on the rare occasion result in some overlapping with pick ups and drop offs when in close proximity to each other. Unfortunately Mother Nature always has the upper hand. We do keep you updated along our trip with photos and texts 3 or 4 times a day and let you know how your fur- baby is doing. Your pet will also be given treats and fresh spring water at every potty break which is usually every 3 or 4 hours. Dog friendly dogs may be walked and have playtime together. If your dog is not dog friendly we will take them out individually and give them one-on-one walks and attention and play time! I am now offering flight nanny services but please message me directly for more info. Please be aware that most flight nannies are flight attendants who use their benefits to make extra money on the side. This is against company policy and if caught your pet can be confiscated and you will most likely have to go get your pet yourself. Also if they are offering same day flight service "when available" this means your pet will be waiting on standby for hours or even a couple days for a seat to become available so you could be waiting a few days for them to arrive. We accept payment in two parts. Sixty percent of the fee is payable upfront upon signing of driver agreement. We use Quickbooks Invoice (3% processing fee added) so you can use your Credit Debit Card for the deposit or full payment and we also take COD for the balance which is due at the time of delivery. Quickbooks also gives you the option to pay over time through Affirm if you qualify! You may also pay your driver the balance directly via zelle, cashapp or venmo. Please note, Citizenshipper does charge their own separate booking fee upon booking. We have no extra or hidden fees. PLEASE CONFIRM WITH US BEFORE BOOKING SO WE CAN CONFIRM DATES AND AVAILABILITY.
