Unacceptable level of communication and unacceptable delivery. How would anyone like to receive a new pet at 11:30 at night? I think not! It is evident that prior planning is secondary to profit and stress on the animals.

We had a great experience with this transport company! They delivered our new GSP puppy all the way from Minnesota to North Carolina, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Communication was great throughout the trip, and most importantly, our puppy arrived safe, happy, and well cared for. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals they’re transporting, which gave us a lot of peace of mind with such a long trip. We cannot thank Lacey and Larry enough for transporting our little puppy to the airport so we could safely pick him up! From the very start, they treated him with so much love, care, and attention. Handing one’s pet over for transport can be stressful, but they put our minds completely at ease. They were incredibly careful, gentle, and loving every step of the way. The best transport we’ve ever used. He had incredible attention to detail. Wanted to know every detail about our dog - what he ate, how he played, where he liked to sleep. Then the ride itself was fantastic. My Rottweiler had lots of room to stretch and sleep or cuddle up. He went on frequent walks and hikes and had play time. I got constant updates w pics and video. 5 stars doesn’t do it justice. My dog was actually sad to leave. He had the best road trip adventure ever.

When I requested bids Darin was one of the first 3 to respond within minutes and once I decided to book Darin he instantly started getting ready to go pick up my puppy ...even at 10 PM though I explained he didn't have to leave late at night/ immediately but he did anyway. He kept me and the breeder updated on progress/ ETA's, sent me photos of puppy when he picked him up and 3-4 times throughout the trip and I have my puppy home 24 hrs. after booking Darin....around 700 mile trip each way. We have been in touch since and he is VERY responsive, supportive and there if I need any future transport as well. On top of the fact I ended up with 18 bids for my request over a couple of days and Darin was one of the most affordable for sure....of course price is a factor but the service and fact he only does one dog at a time (and I was getting a 14 week ole puppy subject to illnesses and parvo) and the gut feeling about the quality of his service was a bigger factor for me. Win win! I have Darin's info saved on my laptop as well as my phone and if I ever need a transport again I would def. book Darin. Even my breeder was very happy with him and his service and his car setup from the transport etc.

I needed help transporting my dog, Tuco, from Arizona to Tennessee because I’m not able to drive such a long distance myself. I specifically wanted a solo transport so he wouldn’t be stressed traveling with other dogs. Before choosing a driver, I spoke with several people and carefully read through all of their reviews. Tuco is also very selective about people. he definitely does not trust or follow just anyone so I wanted someone I could truly feel comfortable leaving him with. I’m so glad I trusted my instincts because I absolutely made the right choice. From the very beginning, he was incredibly thoughtful, and genuinely caring toward Tuco. He didn’t just feel like someone whose job was simply to drive him from one place to another. You could really tell that he truly loves dogs and cares about their comfort and happiness. Throughout the entire trip, he gave me detailed updates and sent me lots of photos. He made plenty of stops so Tuco could rest, walk around, explore, and enjoy himself along the way. Instead of this being just a stressful long trip for him, he actually gave Tuco such a fun and memorable little adventure. Seeing how relaxed and happy Tuco was with him made me feel completely at ease. Honestly, if he were a dog sitter, I would trust him with Tuco every single day while I was at work. That’s how comfortable and impressed I was with the way he treated him. I was able to wait for Tuco to arrive without worrying because I knew he was in such good hands. I’m genuinely so grateful for everything he did for Tuco and for me. Thank you so much for bringing my boy home safely and for treating him with so much love and care. Five stars honestly aren’t enough I’d give him 50 stars if I could! ❤️🐾

An independent transporter you choose yourself. CitizenShipper is a marketplace, not a carrier. You post your dog's trip for free, transporters send quotes, and you compare their profiles, reviews from other dog owners, and verification badges before you book. You can message your transporter before and during the trip.
Yes, and new puppy owners write many of CitizenShipper's dog transport reviews. Post the breeder's pickup location and your delivery address, and transporters will quote the trip. Many states require a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection for pets crossing state lines, usually issued within 10 days of travel, so ask your breeder and vet which records your puppy needs.
Your transporter can reach a licensed vet by video, 24/7 and at no extra cost, through the CitizenShipper and Vetster program. Every pet booking also includes a $1,000 Pet Protection Plan at no extra cost. It reimburses eligible vet costs from the moment you hand over your dog until delivery, and claims must be filed within 10 days of delivery. You can raise the limit to $2,500 for $99 or to $5,000 for $169. The plan is not pet insurance.
Transporters set their own prices, so the cost depends on distance and route, your dog's size and needs, timing, and whether your dog shares the ride.
