Thank you for taking the time to read, and consider my profile as a first step in choosing someone to transport and care for your family member (pet). I cannot over emphasize how I prioritize the well-being of all animals at all times. My empathy for their emotional and basic needs stems from years of experience (both in the US and overseas) dealing with pet care and logistics. Likewise, I am intimately familiar with long term pet care as it relates to the travel of families forced to leave their furry companions for an extended period. While overseas, I opened and managed a canine boarding facility with US service members in mind. Born to an Air Force family, married to an active duty Navy sailor for 20-years, and a 10-year Air Force veteran myself, has exposed me to a wealth of pet logistical challenges. I have no less than fifteen pet accompanied household moves under my belt (six of which were to and from overseas) and many across country. Dogs of all breeds and cats have been a constant in my life since birth. My sensitivities to their needs whether it is in a crate in a vehicle for potentially hours on end, or the stress, cold and confusion of aircraft cargo holds for air-travel is an emotional burden I have always shared on every move. Having witnessed the nightmares faced by other families who failed to do the appropriate paperwork, or complete the appropriate veterinary visits has traumatised me enough to know that there is almost no such thing as too much preparation when it comes to pet travel. I realize being a relatively "new" profile on this site can give potential customers pause, but I assure you I am nothing less than professional, communicative, and responsible for any pet. I have an extremely outgoing personality, and am not easily distracted when it comes to the care of your loved one. I sincerely hope that you provide me with the opportunity to prove my professionalism and nurturing manner for your pet, should you need this service in the near future. I am available and prepared to travel domestically and internationally and am a stickler for process and procedure. I feel that (in the case of pet logistics) too much communication is a "good problem" to have!
