My name is Tonya Feather I live on the Swinomish Reservation 🪶 I’m new on this site, however, I bring over 20 years of hands-on experience transporting animals safely and humanely across the United States. I’m also formerly known online as Advocate for Saving Dogs on Facebook, where I dedicated over 60 hours a week since 2007 to helping animals in need. Through that work, I ran a networking group, Advocate for Saving Animals, focused on helping shelter dogs and other animals find their forever homes. While my advocacy covered many types of animals, I became especially known for personally rescuing and transporting wolves, wolf-dog mixes, coyote mixes, large and small-breed dogs, including various wildlife—animals that often require calm handling, deep understanding, and respect for their instincts, and that many others were unwilling to take on.
