Preparing for the Journey • Supplies: While I have all necessary supplies, it’s not abnormal for your pet to have a favorite blanket, toy, or preferred food. I recommend clients provide their preferred food, harness, bedding, and toys. I also have a cargo attachment for my Jeep that I'd be happy to transport your crates, and any other additional supplies. Using this attachment allows me to take additional and larger supplies without comprising the space and comfort set up for your pet. • Medication: If your pet requires medication, I’ll need clear instructions. • Travel Stops: I ensure your pet’s comfort by stopping for walks and meals. Meals can be scheduled per your request, and I typically stop every 3 hours. Extreme weather (rain, heat, snow) may limit outdoor activities for safety. Contract / Payment Options • I have a simple two-page contract that I send via eMail for electronic signature • Deposit: A 50% deposit is required no later than 3 days prior to pick-up. Payments can be made via Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, Debit or Credit Card. Note: A 3.5% fee will be attached to credit card payments. • Balance Due: The remaining balance is paid upon delivery, at which time cash is also accepted. I’ve hauled equipment for the military for years while in the military. Sometimes worth millions of dollars with no incidents. I’ve driven for door dash with a 98 customer review rating. I’ve also hauled some side loads not on this sight to include a boat. Some of my quotes could be kinda high. That’s simple cause I’ll have to rent equipment to get it done for you. But I can guarantee it will be done. My pets at home are my family members to. Therefore I’ll treat yours like mine. Which I’ll ask questions ahead of time whether you already have carrier or I need to bring one. If I’m hauling a boat or camper for you. Generally my bid is placed as a straight run. I intend on keeping it that way so your high price item gets there in a timely manor and not waiting on me to make lots of other stops. If I'm coordinating a move with you. That price can be subject to change as your informing me what I'll be loading. Picking up stuff from storage as I've learned the hard way. If your stuff isn't ready when I get there, I'll have a standby fee of $100 a day. Also if you only tell me a a few small items, and I can get there and it's a whole trailer load. This just messed up the stack that I originally got you the deal. It will be $1 a mile from the location of pickup to the location of delivery plus $100 a day with the drive and the cost of renting the trailer that I hadn't accounted for because I wasn't expecting that much stuff. If your honest I can generally work my routes a different way to help. Also to add in recent months I have hired additional help that will allow me to make more deliveries a lot quicker.

I am not and probably will never be the lowest bidder, which is ok. The only thing I compete with is service level, compassion and professionalism. Some things are too important to delegate to other companies, so from pickup to delivery, Pet Chariot is with you all the way. Family operated business, so team drivers and on-board caregivers (when applicable) are trusted and operating to my standards. Both ground and air transport are available and each have their pros and cons. All initial bids are for ground transport only. Air transport bids are separate and only valid for 24 hours. Air transport trips require 50% deposit at time of booking. If you choose air transport, your pet will need a travel certification from your local vet. You will need to provide a FAA approved pet crate. (Walmart crates are travel approved). If you don’t have one, Pet Chariot can provide them for an additional fee. Be it ground or air transport, we are with your pet personally from beginning to end and we do NOT outsource to 3rd party expeditors. All ground pet transports are done the company van, even the regional short runs. This enables me to maintain crates and feeding without needing to put pets on the ground. That means when I transport young pets, they are contained within the climate controlled van the entire trip and aren’t exposed to anything unthinkable along the way.
