Hi there! My name is Trista. AKA Momma T to my fur babies. I was born, raised and still living in Kentucky. My family moved around a bit so animals were my companions. Mostly lived on cattle and tobacco farms which were run by the women. I was riding horses before I could walk. My mom was the office administrator at a veterinarian office and that office was my second home. The vet was like a second dad and had me learning everything I could about animal care. Which was a good thing because I brought every stray animal home. Even had some exotic pets like a wolf, peacocks and rats. Once I finished highschool I pursued a career in medicine. I have worked as an EMT, Medical Assistant (dog sitter for my doctor), Orthopedic Technician and Optician. I took care of my mother when she went in liver failure then my grandmother with dementia. Our animals played a huge roll in our lives. When my grandma passed away my heart shattered. I decided to change careers and started working at my local animal shelter. I can honestly say that I have not had a single dog attack me and earned the title of the dog whisperer. Even the most aggressive ones loved me. I have had my share of cat bites though. Lol. I didn't even know pet transport was a job possibility till we had one of our dogs picked up. I knew at that moment this was my dream job. Now this is my lifebloodI personally do every transport and am loving every minute of it. In my down time I spend time with my family. I also provided free transport in my county to seniors and low income families for help with getting to vet and spay/neuter appointments.
