I charge less as it’s pretty much just above what it would cost me in gas. I grew up on a farm, raising 4-H animals. Have worked at a zoo, 2 wildlife rehabilitation centers. I co own a domestic rescue and Hoping to expand into a wildlife rescue I am comfortable with all mammals and birds. I have experience with medication and wound care if pets require per veterinary treatment. I get the dogs out of the vehicle every 3-4 hours to go to the bathroom and to stretch, walk/run them up the sidewalk at rest areas and to make sure they are hydrated. If needed I have kennels. I have travel bowls that get cleaned and sanitized between each animal. *must ask about kennels before confirming transport, if I’m already out a kennel might not be available **if a certain brand of feed is needed I do ask you provide it as I simply can not accommodate every brand for every customer. Dog treats are given unless asked not to. Each animal is treated like my own pet, loved and cared for. I put a harness or chain on all dogs for walking as there is less chance of slipping out. I am essentially a stranger to them and their safety and wellbeing is my number one priority.
