I started in a grooming shop in 1994, where I learned basic cleaning and handling skills. I then worked apx 8 years cleaning, caring for, managing, and running a boarding, training, & rescue kennel. We offered free roam play areas, daycare, grooming, and training (of all levels and services). There was Rottweiler breeding, showing, and rescue that the owner ran out of the facility that I was trained to help with. I was able to learn about welping, puppy care, AKC standards, and transporting. With having rescue and breeding, I'm very confident in understanding breeder contracts, rehoming, and being able to read pet anxieties about new environments and offer products to ease stresses. I was able to then move to veterinary medicine, where I spent almost 20 years. I, not only, was able to learn general practice medicine, but worked in speciality department, surgery, emergency services, infectious medicine, and many other medical services. I currently own 2 pitbulls and a kitty myself, but have owned many different dogs (in ranging breeds and sizes) and cats; plus even a few pocket pets, exotics, and birds over the years. My 4 year old bluey, "Skr", was a gift from my boyfriend that passed away January 2021, when our puppy was just 4 months old. "Skr" is my registered service dog and licensed personal protection dog, so he gets to go everywhere with me since he is approved to travel, enter, and stay anywhere I go. Losing Jake opened my eyes to how quickly life goes, and to make as many important memories as possible. I started transporting in 22' so that I can share and save all those core memory goals we made for our family. My boyfriend of just over a year, joined us the beginning on 24' and we now spend life showing our boys more adventures and beauty than could even imagine is possible at the places that were once just dreams to "make plans to see in our future". Some of "Skr's" favorite places are the beach or snow, Disneyland, Six Flags, and any Zoo or animal park. I have a grown son thats 21, who cares for MY pets and home while we're on the road, which includes our 13 year old retired service pitbull, "Rampage" (or more often called "Pup......or "Puppy" "PupPup" or now "Old Man" and "Lumpy". 4 very short months younger then "Pup" is my, also 13 year old, son who is able to join us on the road (when he wants) to see, touch, and explore places he's learning about in school. I work Fridays at our family's bbq restaurant and for catering jobs as needed, but have a fairly flexible schedule, so am able to accommodate most days, times, last minute jobs, or flexibility requests.
