About

Hello! My name is Lois, and I am a lifelong animal professional dedicated to providing the safest, most comfortable travel experience for your beloved pets. While this side hustle proudly helps fund road trips for my husband, children, and myself, I operate as the sole expert handler on every single journey. When your pet is in my care, they have my undivided, medically-informed attention from start to finish. 🌟 Why Choose Me? • 17+ Years of Professional Experience: I spent 4 years as a primary care veterinary technician, 4 years as an animal emergency technician, and 9 years as a licensed small mammal wildlife rehabilitation specialist. • Diverse Species Comfort: Over my career, I have personally owned, fostered, and treated almost everything! Whether your family member is a dog, cat, reptile, bird, or small pocket pet, they are in expert hands. 🚐 The Five-Star Travel Setup Your pet will travel in style and maximum comfort inside my spacious, climate-controlled minivan. • Tailored Crating: I prefer that you provide a familiar crate so your pet has their own comforting scent, but I am happy to supply my own secure, properly sized crate if needed. • Frequent Updates: I know how stressful it is to be apart from your pets. I happily send frequent photo and video updates at every rest stop, potty break, and milestone so you never have to wonder how they are doing. • Advanced Medical Expertise: Because of my emergency tech background, I am uniquely qualified to handle senior pets, high-anxiety animals, and pets with complex medical needs. I am fully comfortable administering any type of medication, including oral pills, topicals, subcutaneous fluids, and injections • Emergency Triage Ready: In the absolute rarest case of an emergency, you have a trained emergency responder behind the wheel. I know exactly how to read early signs of distress, stabilize an animal, and coordinate with local 24/7 emergency clinics along our route. Your pet isn't just luggage to me—they are family. I treat every animal with the same patience, love, and medical vigilance that I gave to my patients in the ER. Terms: Citizenshipper does charge a connection fee when you book. That money does not go to the transporter & is in addition to the bid placed. I do not charge fees other than my bid for your transport. After booking we are allowed to exchange contact info & speak offsite to exchange addresses & details further. My requirements are that half of the transport cost be paid within 48 hours of booking. This amount is non refundable if you cancel the transport with less than one week notice, make changes to the transport that cause it to be cancelled, or if the breeder will not allow pick up when I arrive. The final half is due at time of pick up. Thank you for considering us for your transport needs! Let's get your pet safely to their destination! Send me a message today to discuss your timeline and specific pet needs.
