Hello, My name is Melissa, I thought I’d give you a little information about me. I name my business Dixiegirl after my beloved cat Dixie, who suffered kidney stones I tried everything I could to save her. although she did live four more years it was just not enough for me. I was devastated. She was an exceptional cat. she helped me get through the hard times being a caregiver to my terminally ill mom.After being a caregiver for my mom for over 10 years, I started working for Uber and other delivery services and during the years, I volunteered for pet rescues and including hurricane rescues for 10 years. I’ve transported anything from birds to cats and dogs. i’ve done lots of driving in my past I’ve been to Maine all the way to Colorado and Texas and down to Florida and up to Wisconsin. I rescued animals from the hurricane Florence in North Carolina in 2019. My own dog served as a comfort to those who lost everything. I stop for potty breaks every 3 to 4 hours and will update as often as you like. Let me know what I can do to make everything comfortable. *Citizen Shipper does charge a separate fee from what we charge I have some veterinarian experience
