That bond led me to become a veterinary technician, where I spent years caring for pets in clinics—monitoring their health, assisting in surgeries, and offering comfort during stressful moments. It was incredibly rewarding work that taught me not just the science of animal care, but the art of patience, empathy, and trust. Over time, I realized I wanted to do more than help animals in a clinical setting—I wanted to be there for them during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives: when they’re on the move. That’s what inspired me to start a new chapter in animal transportation. Now, I use my vet tech training to ensure every animal I transport is safe, calm, and cared for like family. Whether I’m reuniting pets with their people or helping rescues reach their forever homes, I bring a steady hand, a compassionate heart, and a deep respect for the animals in my care. This isn’t just a job—it’s a calling rooted in love, loyalty, and a lifelong bond with animals. My mission is to make every journey as smooth and stress-free as possible, so every animal feels secure, seen, and loved—no matter how far they travel. --- 🌳 Where the seed was planted a tree now flourishes My connection with animals goes far beyond my professional training. I grew up on a small farm in rural Iowa where I had the pleasure of working with horses, rabbits, pigs, ducks, goats, sheep, and chickens. Over the years, I’ve also rescued, fostered, and loved many different breeds of dogs, including: - Pit Bulls - Boxers - Labradors - Siberian Huskies - Malamutes - German Shepherds - Australian Shepherds - Dachshunds - Miniature Schnauzers - Chihuahuas - Mixed breeds and more --- 🏡 My Animal Family I currently share my home with five beloved four-legged family members: - Kane – 7-year-old Siberian Husky/White German Shepherd mix, rescued from a backyard breeder - Balto – 6-year-old Siberian Husky, my granddog, lovingly adopted by my oldest son - Lincoln – 4-year-old Chihuahua, my best buddy and constant companion, rescued from another backyard breeding situation - Kiko – 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix, my doggie niece who belongs to my disabled brother living with me - Jinx – 10-month-old all-black Domestic Shorthair, rescued from a cat colony beneath my neighbor’s trailer.
