Derek and his son were the best team to take our 14 year old Golden Retriever dog 1300 miles to Colorado. They gave us personal attention, constant updates, photos, and google maps to follow them. They were very nice, had plenty of comfortable room, and even took our cat with them too as an exception. Highly recommend using them anytime.

This was my first time using citizenshipper and transporting a dog, but Derek made it a breeze! I had an underweight Malinois that needed transported, and he didn’t assume the situation at all like many others did which I was very thankful for. He offered an amazing quote, and even fit me back in his schedule after I canceled previously due to personal reasons! Many photo & ETA updates were provided throughout their drive! My dog ended up having an accident in the van, but Derek wasn’t even upset. They bought him a collar, food, and a toy as well. He LOVES the orange collar they got him, he gets so excited when I grab it to put on! He sleeps with his monkey toy every night too. Derek is super friendly, professional, punctual, and kind. I felt very at ease the entire time. I knew my dog was in good hands with him and his son! I wholeheartedly recommend Tennessee Paws Transportation! :)

I was really nervous about my dog being transported as I was inheriting her after the passing of a family member, but in the two weeks I had been searching I had not found anyone whose profile is as personal or professional as Dereks. A lot people say they will treat your dog like family but don’t show you how they treat family. Derek shows how much he cares. My Valentina was happy the whole car ride from Florida to Rhode Island and Derek really eased my concerns. He was kind enough to keep her calm the whole way through with blankets and toys and treats. He sent us pictures and gps locations and she clearly really loved being with him. He was a real life saver. If you’re wondering about booking with him just know that I don’t think you can find anyone better.

We needed my parents dog transported several hundred miles after two family medical issues left him homeless. Derek was respectful of our timeline and our preferences for the dog's care en route. The dog liked him, and his co-pilot, and our pictures from the trip confirmed it went well. 110% recommend!

Derek end his children brought my new pup from my breeder to me, over 900 miles one way, in three days. I got updates and pictures the whole time. My puppy got to my house happy, healthy and with so much love. If I ever move another pet I will be contacting him again for sure. 10/10 would recommend!!

Derek was great! He transported our dog with his son from North Carolina to NY. She was very scared and anxious but kept me up to date with her status and pictures. He communicated very well which help put me at ease. He dropped her off about 8 hours earlier since she was stressed and wanted her to get to her new home as soon as possible. I highly recommend Tennessee Paws he will make sure your pup gets TLC.

Could not recommend this service enough. Derek was amazing. He sent me updates and pictures of Mia throughout the entire trip. Took excellent care of Mia the whole way and even arrived early to the destination point. Great customer service and all around great service. Would definitely book with him again in the future if needed!
