Michelle discovered CitizenShipper through one of her customers. Some might call it a happy accident, but we think fate might’ve had a hand in it. For Michelle, CitizenShipper’s unique platform was the exact fit for what she wanted to do, and she didn’t hesitate to become a part of it.

Michelle takes the comfort and safety of the pets she transports very seriously. Only taking up to four dogs at a time, her vehicle’s size never compromises the quality of care for each pet. This careful approach and her love for the mission have stood out in all her jobs — creating heartwarming connections, even with high-profile clients such as 2002 World Series Pitcher, Ryne Stanek. “His dog is Goose, and we love that whole family,” Michelle says with fondness.

When asked about her advice to new drivers, she says, “Take care of the fur babies; that’s the most important part.” It resonates with her personal ethos and dedication to this unique line of work. She commonly communicates via text with pet owners unless they prefer otherwise, updating them frequently about their pets’ journey.

Michelle is always eager to learn and grow. She faced challenges, especially regarding bids, but CitizenShipper’s coaching calls became her beacon for professional evolution. “My profile experienced a complete overhaul post the coaching calls,” she shares. “The session helped me a lot in understanding how to respond to issues and how to use my review ratings to my advantage.”

Currently, Michelle plans on keeping the focus on her primary passion, pet transportation. Lastly, we asked Michelle, what she wishes she knew before she started transporting. She simply says, “Nothing.” It’s the embodiment of her adventurous spirit, always ready to face the challenges that come her own way and her joy in meeting new fur-babies. “The most rewarding part of the job is meeting all the new fur-babies,” she admits.
