CitizenShipper’s domination of the Relocation Services category for online review service TrustPilot has continued into 2015.
Nearly six months after joining the impartial reputation website, CitizenShipper remained in first–place with a total score of 9.3 out of 10 in 76 reviews. The closest TrustPilot Relocation Services Competitor, United Routes Auto Transport, received only 17 reviews, with 13 other companies bringing up the rear with an average customer rating of 8.1/10.
89.5% of online customers said CitizenShipper earned a perfect 5/5 rating. A small fraction of reviewers gave the company marks of 4/5 or below.
CitizenShipper also topped media favorite uShip in heads up competition, 9.3 to 9.1. Founded in 2009, the online shipping company also fared well against other sharing economy entities: Uber (6.7 in 93 reviews), Lyft (6.0 from 160 reviews) and Taskrabbit (5.9 out of 3 reviews).
The sustained online review ratings show signs of market-share growth said CitizenShipper CEO Richard Obousy.
“To see our performance improve over an already impressive score is heartening, and we’ve had nearly triple the number of reviews since October of last year, “said Obousy. “We’re growing, but most importantly we are keeping our customers happy, which is essential in the sharing economy.”
CitizenShipper recently added a Shipment Stacking Tool, which allows drivers to consolidate their loads and add cargo as they travel the country. The online shipping company counts more than 47,000 people in its driver community, and has seen a spike in completed pet shipments as well as the number of vehicles transported in the past months.
Vivian Coco, who used CitizenShipper’s services to deliver a Mid Century Modern couch, was one of the first to leave a TrustPilot review in 2014. She continues to be impressed by the service.
“It’s not surprising they are still doing well in the reviews,” Coco said. “The piece I needed shipped was large, heavy and rare, and there was no way I was going to trust it to a traditional shipping company. CitizenShipper is truly filling a need.”
