2018 was a busier year than ever here at CitizenShipper! And now it’s a good time for looking back at the things we’ve helped our loyal and happy customers achieve over the past year.
We wanted to spotlight some of the heartwarming stories of pets our dedicated drivers have brought to new homes – temporary or permanent – through 2018.
Pets reunited with their owners for holidays – is there anything more heartwarming than that?
Let’s start with Dolly, the Labrador. Dolly was safely transported by one of the drivers on CitizenShipper. Jeena, Dolly’s owner, sent us pictures of her in front of the Christmas tree.
“It was nearly impossible to get her home on time. Our kids were a bit sad for their doggo not being home with us. So we kept it secret that we ordered a driver to get her home. We weren’t sure will the driver make it on time. The weather conditions were not so good, and to be honest, I wasn’t even sure about her safety. Mike was great! He sent us pictures from the trip and from those, it looked like Dolly had a great time roadtripping. We are so thankful Mike! Hope you had great holidays!” – Jeena, Dolly’s owner.
“Nicca was 1150 miles from us at our parents’ house and we wanted her home with us on NY eve. We did this for the first time in our lives and we were sooooo anxious about putting her in hands of some random driver. Thank God Jeff was a sweetheart and he took a really good care of our baby!!! “This is Aron when he arrived. It was freezing as hell outside and the driver who drove him home was kind enough to land him some clothes lol.
